Last stop on our island tour was to watch the planes fly just over our heads while we sat on the beach. Beautiful white sand beach and crystal clear blue water. Large restaurant & bar jets out over the water. As the commercial airliners fly...More

Came here as we have been seeing so many pictures - one of the world's most dangerous airport. The beach is very small and crowded. There is bar next to the beach and they have the flight times of arrivals and departures of the aircrafts...More

Hired a bus for 14 of us to get to beach ASAP and managed to get Sunbeds next to Sunset bar - cost 10 dollars each bed. Sunset bar is where you get your buckets of Corona and food if required. Airport is just over...More

So St. Martin was one of the stops on our Disney cruise and once here, we decided to visit Maho Beach just to experience the planes landing right over our heads. First off, it is a very narrow stretch of beach with a road between...More

I don't swim at Maho because it us usually too crowded for me, but it is very nice. I mainly like to go there to watch the planes and have drinks and food at Driftwood boat bar.

Would recommend a visit to this beach - The sand is white and soft and the beach is very clean. GREAT beach! The airplanes land just beyond the beach so they come in RIGHT over your head. This includes smaller planes AND jumbo jets. If...More

Don't let the hurricane scare you away from this amazing beach! It is still as beautiful as ever and an experience you will not get anywhere else! The big jetliner planes do not fly in as often, but we still seen 1 during our half...More

Took a local cab service from Cruise Ship to Maho Beach. Airport is right on top of you. Beach is very nice. Get there early. Buses will get there after you.

Not the most beautiful beach, not the widest beach, not the most convenient beach - but the big attraction is that it literally borders the airport - and when planes take off the blast from the jet engines blows people off their feet. When we...More

We were there when there had only been a few ships in after reopening the port. The taxi rid was fine. Traffic was busy but not bad. Took about 30 to 40 min to return at about 2 o'clock.

Maho Beach is the classic. The planes come onto the runway for landing and they are right above you. PLEASE read the SAFETY SIGNS. Probably a 20 minute ride by cab.
