Lovely garden with all sorts of sections. A great place for an afternoon but don’t forget to visit the fantastic castle a short way down the road.

Threaten gardens make for a wonderful and relaxing visit. National Trust for Scotland look after the house and grounds. There is a shop and cafe. A great place if you have an hour to spare.

Although it was a cold afternoon we enjoyed walking around these gardens and being surprised by all the colour that was still to be seen there. Sadly the recent storms had done its damage to a number of trees.
