Lovely little Theatre offering a good range of films and live broadcasts all at reasonable prices and the facility to book on-line. It has a licensed bar and offers very comfortable seats and leg room in the theatre itself with the facility to purchase ice-cream, drinks, popcorn etc as you go in, again all at very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and I would definitely recommend.

Best amateur production ever- 1724, the Galloway Levellers. Great theatre, brilliant production, better than many I've seen in West end of London!

Fantastic theatre in Castle Douglas, great prices, fantastic seating (everyone can see) and offers a bar area if you want a beverage before the show, movies, live theatre streams from London, Operas through live feed and always a great selection of snacks to choose from at a very reasonable price to enjoy the show with. Theatre is run by volunteers and what a great and friendly bunch of folks. If in Castle Douglas, catch a show or movie there, you will not be disappointed.

Visited to see a live show transmitted from and by the Royal Opera House - a lovely version of "Norma".
Access for my scooter was almost impossible due to tight access ramps with right angled corners. However, a very helpful volunteer man struggled with my husband to get it into the front row of the theatre. Next time we will try the back entrance and walk to the front row!
The seats were OK and the performance was outstanding with a clear HD picture and great sound. The main female was a standin for a diva who quit at the last moment and she did extraordinarily well, and she is a star of the future. For £12 a seat this was great value and we look forward to watching the Tales of Hoffman shortly.

Often attend this theatre for various performances. Love the cosy atmosphere and the volunteers do an amazing job. This was my first Panto and it was amazing - far better than a professional one I went to in Glasgow last year. Whilst all of the cast were excellent - the two ugly sisters were definitely my favourite.

Really enjoyed a film here recently. The building is very well refurbished and looked after, the staff are also friendly and helpful. Picture and sound quality are very good.
It was very busy, so you will probably want to book.

We have been to this little theatre on many an occasion for a movie, live performance, and each time has been an exceptional value for money, snacks are very reasonable on the purse and the staff are helpful and friendly. Make time to go a little early and enjoy a cocktail at the bar area before the show, always a great night out!!
