There is every type of sweet you could ever imagine here. Sadly the two young female staff were really miserable and quite rude. Choosing from such a collection is not an easy task and we felt pressured into hurrying. Their poor attitude spoilt the experience....More

Sorbets and ice creams made locally using local cows milk. Have never tasted such delicious fruit sorbets, I recommend the raspberry and the passion fruit flavours.

Wandering down Castle Douglas' main street and discovered this gem. What a selection of sweets....it was like being transported back into my childhood. Obviously I could only buy 100g of my chosen sweets, instead of a quarter....lol. It was great seeing a traditional sweet school...More

Lovely little shop with all the old sweeties right down to liquorice pipes. I couldn't believe the amount of sweetie. My kids were so happy and the lady who served us was really nice and helpful

we visit Castle Douglas quite often as we like the independent shops and the amazing area . We never leave without calling in here for sweets they have a vast amount of jars to chose from . Just amazing

Having had a great week away. The kids wanted a sweet stop for the journey home...... This shop is an aladdin's cave of tastes with so many sweets to choose from and enjoy. We went mad and must have come away with enough for weeks!!!...More
