This was a course that has been on my bucket list for a very long time and was one of three courses we had planned to play over the three day trip. So, as golf courses go, simply excellent in every way. The quality of the fairways, to the greens, all in great condition. ( A very tuff and quite... More

Played it for the second time recently. Oh my goodness it is lovely. The weather was warm and sunny which helped but the course is beautifully presented and very well maintained. It is spread over a large area in the middle of nowhere - no roads nearby, no noise pollution, amazing views in most directions. The course itself is a... More

Good challenging course, quite long for the men, less so for ladies. Their website is a bit deceiving as it shows the 14th hole as a green surrounded by lovely clear water. In actual fact, the water is there but it is overgrown with reeds and plants, so not nearly as picturesque as their website shows. That photo must have... More

The Roxburghe golf course is a real test of golf. The course is stunning, well laid out and kept superbly. We went as a group and have been before but this is a beautiful golf course that you wouldn't get bored playing on a regular basis. Well worth the visit. Definitely be back here

Just spent a really wonderful 2 days playing this absolute gem of a course. The course is set out over a large area and makes excellent use of the natural features. Truly breathtaking views from the 14th tee. Only one minor quibble; some large bunkers which inexplicably have only 1 rake in them and there's no ball washers. Apart from... More

We were spectators here and it was well worth the walk. The course is set in the most beautiful border scenery with a viaduct providing a dramatic backdrop to the 14th hole. The golfer amongst us informs me that it is an excellent course. Service at the clubhouse was friendly.

Played this course in September 2015. Course was in fantastic condition and a real tough test. Defo give this course a try if your a keen golfer and visiting the area. Will defo be back. Course is hard enough but pretty open so both rounds were played in fairly breezy conditions making it even more tricky. Great course!!!

The course is not for the novice or the faint hearted. It's laid out in spectacular surroundings and every hole is a challenge in it's own right. When we visited the greens and fairways were in great shape (a couple of days prior to PGA European qualifying school) They have made maximum use of the natural contours and the layout... More

Took a trip down to play the Roxburghe golf course, which is a favourite course. Booking and checking in was all well handled by the friendly professional staff. Unfortunately the weather let us down as it rained all day, but hey that's golf in Scotland. The day was rescued when we had dinner in the clubhouse, a three courser, I... More
