Great weather great view - I grumble having to pay for parking- enjoyed watching the cyclists - dog didn’t enjoy trip up and down the mountain but saved my legs - does exactly what you expect so do it!

Nice Stop, Beautiful Scenery
Jun 2019 • Family
Nice stop with a great view. Unfortunately, it rained the entire week we were there so the mud was inches deep and midges were in abundance. Discounting all of that, it was great!

Please be aware this isn’t just an easy hike!

I was guiding two people up Lagangarbh Buttress today, and on the summit we found three separate couples looking for an easy way down the front face to meet up with the footpath down below which showed up clearly in their mobile apps. There isn’t one! So please be aware that if you go up Coire na Tullaich, you need to go down the same way. This is a proper mountain and not just an easy hike. There is plenty of rough ground. The views are stunning though, so highly recommended as long as you have some experience of being in the mountains.

Wow

Fantastic views and a decent challenge to hike. Our party spent most of the day here to climb several peaks. Heavy fog made it a challenge in places but when it cleared some of the scenery was stunning.

Stunning views from an iconic mountain.

My first view of "The Buachaille" was as a 17 year old, I was with my father staying in Killin, after walking on the Ben Lawers range we headed west bound for Fort William and Ben Nevis. It was an overcast dreary day as we crossed Rannoch Moor but the excitement built as we neared Glencoe, I had seen pictures of Stob Dearg, the northernmost peak of Buachaille Etive Mor but seeing it for real was awe inspiring, an impregnable looking cone of rock. Two years later, I stood on it's summit having walked up via Coire na Tulaich, a steep path with a little easy scrambling, the views all around are outstanding. 32 years later on a cold but clear early May day, I repeated the walk, with ageing bones that clamber up was a lot stiffer but, wow, what a reward. Buachaille Etive Mor is deservedly one of Scotland's most iconic peaks, well woth a visit

Not enough water
May 2019 • Couples
The waterfall isn’t running at full force at the time of the posting so the view with the mountain in the back is not possible. It would be 3 points, but it’s so close to the road that it was trouble less.

Absolute favourite in Scotland...

Have visited several times now and each is always as amazing as the other. It's in such a prominent position and in its own space that it commands attention. Its classic shape seems to delight something inside of us. Love it.

I have been on this hill before and I can say I will do it again it was great the first time but I loved it more when I went back again. A hill like most hills you have to be very careful. Stop and look that way you want have any problems. The views are stunning. There is a good path and a lovely pub at the end of the day. These are two photos from the other side of the hill.
