No matter the weather, no matter how often we drive through the glen, this place is just stunning. In fact, I often think in poorish weather, with mist and gloomy clouds, it looks even better. A must see, I would say, for any visitor to Scotland.Worth the drive or tour from Glasgow or Edinburgh, ten times over.
Well worth going up the ski chairlift for incredible views over the mountains, and Buachaille Etive Mor itself.Ben Nevis very visible on a clear day too.
Really, the whole area, including Glen Etive deserves an overnight and you really should get out and walk rather than simply spend 5 mins admiring it all from one of the car parks.
A photographer's dream.

We tried to visit here in February 2018, but heavy snow had shut the mountain!!! Finally after 4 years we were able to finally get out first ever trip up in a chairlift and into a ski resort. We don’t ski (we are week southerners and prefer a beach!) However it was a lovely experience to go up the mountain, sledge and watch everyone else skiing and snowboarding. It was also nice to warm up in the cafe with a hot chocolate and chips. All round a reasonably priced day!

At last got to go up on the cable, always been shut each time I visited. It was super to walk the last bit for the extra view. Muddy and wet in October wear good footwear if you fancy the short walk. The view was amazing. The ride up was brilliant.

This used to be such a lovely homely lodge but since the renovation its gone drastically downhill. Cold, basic and unwelcoming inside. Very overpriced, not dog friendly so we had to sit outside with no shelter. Food is not freshly prepared and sits on hot plates waiting to be served. Now just another commercialised service station built to maximise profits. Wouldn't recommend stopping.

Stunning from all directions and in all weathers. Changes so much through the seasons that one visit is not enough. Get your back pack on, remember your waterproofs and enjoy the great outdoors at its very best. Best place to visit in the UK by far.

5point Review
Spectacular scenery and one of the most scenic drives of my life. Glen Coe here we come
1. Thumbs up : Well Scotland is all about nature at its untouched best. Glen Coe is exactly that. Beautiful valleys, towering cliffs, green (in summers ofcourse) mountains, lush grasslands.
2. Thumbs down : Google maps again. The location leads you in middle of nowhere. We missed a couple of beautiful photo spots trying to find the exact location (Yeah we maybe dumb trying to find the exact place when we were already there, but the location should get us atleast somewhere) Google do you hear?
3. Wow factor : You can hike, camp or just drive around. This place is stunning. Views will take your breath away. I so much wanted to just keep walking all around but we had places to go.
4. Money Matters : Nada. (Unless you count gas costs😏)
5. 5Point Review : Scotland at its pure best. Drive (and trekking and camping, if you have time for it) of a lifetime.
My ratings : You have to drive out to these places if you wanna see Scottich highlands. Worth it.

Drove over to Glencoe while on holiday nearby. Had a really hearty breakfast of rolls with bacon and potato scones at the café. We then had a ride on the chairlift and a climb up to the summit through the happy valley. Stopped to have a look in the haggis trap but sadly there wasn't any hiding that day! Really amazing views and the staff are great!

Rain and cloudy skies won't dampen the beauty of this amazing landscape.
Popular with tourists and locals alike, one would understand why.
It felt as if the lands are able to reach the skies with the clouds hovering just around its peak.
