This is a beautiful spot on the Northumberland coast that I just love. Good for children, walking the dog, old people & the like. This wide open beach is great.

This is one of the many great beaches in Northumberland. Great for all types of activities, whether young or old. It has plenty of space and interesting areas to discover. The town it's self is a gem.

We stayed in Alnmouth. Great beach to walk and surf. Or if weather poor sit in car facing out to the sea. Ice cream van nearly always there.

Clean beaches which go on forever! A walker’s delight and a treat for the dogs. Spectacular views and not too busy at this time of year.

Alnmouth Beach is a very clean, flat Dog friendly Beach. I would highly recommend a visit to this Beach should you find yourself in this area.

Really beautiful beach which changes as the tide comes in. River seems to be changing course and eating into the far bank exposing some pebbles and the anti-tank blocks, 2 of which are now in the main channel so be careful if sailing or swimming.

There are many alternative places to park in the village itself. Also there is a far superior beach south of the river accessible through the dunes , called buston links , and it's free!!
