The footpaths along this coastal walk from Alnmouth or from Foxton Hall are spectacular and afford lovely views over the golf courses and out to the sea beyond. It is most interesting to reveal and enjoy aspects of the history of this location en route.

This point on the coastal footpath was a place we visited on 3 or 4 occasions during our week in Alnmouth. Forms part of our favourite walk over the golf course and to Lesbury and also a shorter circuit onto the beach
