The beach foraging day involved some local history, fossil hunting, pulling up lobster pots and rock pooling ending with lunch on Port Mulgrave beach and a walk back to Staithes along the cliff tops. Sean is a knowledgeable guide and good company. We had a great day, helped by fantastic weather. Lunch was amazing with food a restaurant would be proud of and loads of lobster. One vegetarian was well catered for too. We also had a a good day's fishing on Sean's boat, All My Sons. Not only did we catch fish but saw a variety og birds, porpoises and had dolphins swimming alongside.

Fab day with friends and kids. Sean is a knowledgeable guide, along with his son and Kip the dog. The children thoroughly enjoyed looking for fossils below the cliffs and searching for fish and crabs in the rock pools. Would highly recommend and would do again.

We were greeted by Sean and Pat on the harbour side and the whole experience was really fun, interesting and well worth it. A tour of the foreshore with snippets and stories from its industrial heritage, shipwrecks and more. We saw sea slugs and experienced eating seaweed as well as other items on the foreshore. Fosilling was my wife's favourite experience and I really enjoyed the rock pooling too. We were really lucky with the weather as it was sunny but do go wrapped up. Sean and his son know their stuff, working on the lifeboats and living in Staithes all their lives. He says he never lets the truth get in the way of a good story but that's not to say he doesn't know all sorts. Go, enjoy and experience!
