This was our third or fourth visit - when we like something we tend to return! The Forbidden Corner has surprises around every corner, each time we have been back there has been something new to see. At the start you get a map, but it doesn't have any real order, the fun is getting lost and turned around, finding... More

Came here with my boyfriend and had a fantastic day The only thing I would say is that patience is needed as you do tend to go around in circles a lot but that's the fun of the experience! Would come again in the future

Didn't really know what to expect except that this place is a bit different - and different it was. Lots to explore with tunnels, passages and dark spooky places. Magical place to visit, full of surprises and follies - don't forget to the follow the map as it is a must.

My partner and I called for a lovely day out. It is apparently the brain child of Mr C.R.Armstrong. It was originally built as a private folly but due to public demand opened its gates. A unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, follies and surprises. Set in 4 acres of gardens. The temple of the underworld, the eye of the needle.... More

I've visited a few times and it never fails to disappoint. All the kids of various ages have enjoyed their visit and would recommend.

What a hidden gem!! Such fun for adults AND children. The map at the entrance is a MUST. Ticking off and hunting for everything, was quite a challenge. I honestly recommend this experience to ALL ages.

We visited The Forbidden Corner during a much needed break away and, whilst there are parts that require a lick of paint or a tidy up, overall it really is a fun place to be. Full of twists and turns, surprises round every corner and humour dropped in when least expected - it brings out the hidden child in you.... More

Have been coming to the forbidden corner for the last 14 years, brilliant for kids from about 7 years old, younger children might get a little scared, but few bits of damage that need seeing to etc. just little niggles but they are annoying for me as I know how amazing the place can be! Be aware, this won't fill... More

We came here as part of a birthday treat for my boyfriend. It was easy enough to find and offered some amazing unique experiences. On arrival we parked with ease and went through the entrance where there was a lovely cafe with free wifi which is great after camping out with no signal for several days. We were then left... More

My partner and I don't have kids but there never stops us from doing fun things. Forbidden Corner allows you to run away with your imagination. I could imagine some parts of this enchanted place aren't for every young child but overall this place has something for everyone in the family from young to old - I really felt as... More
