Day trip by Carsington Bird Club. At least 60 species seen by group of 12. Highlights were little stint, Merlin and cattle egret. Lots of black tailed godwits. Long-billed Dowitcher proved elusive. Tea/ coffee machine and small selection of filled rolls, and snacks.

This is a great place to bird watch. Easy footpaths. Various hides. Car parking. A small centre with loos where you can purchase coffee and snacks. We have been twice and there has always been someone in the centre to advise if you need it.
