Welll out of the way, but a visit for Historians. Not the place pilgrim fathers eventually sailed from, but were they were arrested and sent to the Guidhall.A big part of UKs and Bostons history. Table and seating available for restating and reflecting. Open air...More

This memorial is worth a visit if only for the views in the area across the river and beyond, a nice area to go for a stroll in the countryside

After a long and winding dead end road you come to the Witham river bank well to the east of Boston, Lincs. In a grass field open to the public is a very unassuming memorial to the first Pilgrim Fathers, and not much more else...More

Just a short walk to see this memorial. A lovely reminder of English and American history. Only a small parking area but well worth a visit

Expected a memorial to a place the pilgrim fathers sailed from but instead it is a memorial to where they didn't sail from. Well why have it then?

Not actually where they sailed from. Nice quiet place, good for picnic or dog walkers. Close to the water for fishing and maybe see the odd boat.

This monument is out the way and a bit hidden. Some care should be taken by the powers-that-be to tidy the area surrounding it. After all, it is quite a significant piece of history.

Boston's big claim to fame is it's connection to the Pilgrim Fathers historical journey, but the memorial, on the river bank at Fishtoft, is very underplayed. For a start, the access is down a narrow, waterlogged lane (a long unattended burst pipe, I would think),...More

not easy to find; the significance of this event is hugely understated for Boston and the area ... though seeing the huge vote for BREXIT recorded here makes me understand why people sailed off into the unknown to get away from this little town and...More
