I had a great visit to St. Dionysius Church. It is a beautiful church with lovely stained glass windows. I visited on a sunny day and the windows seemed like they were lit up - gorgeous. You can get a good view of the church from the balcony. The wood in the pew boxes has a lot of character.
One of my favourite parts of the visit was seeing their Harborough Plastic Challenge poster. On your way out there is a huge list of everything we all should be doing to be proper guardians of the planet. It’s so nice to see places leading the way of plastic reduction, responsible consumerism, and caring for our planet. Good efforts St. Dionysius Church. I am really impressed by this ❤️❤️❤️

I don't usually go into churches, but the sundial on the tower and the wooden interior drew me into this very delightdful and peaceful church, right on the main street but seems a mile away when you are inside. Although it has a font, organ and stained glass windows it was the wooden balconies which have been fully restored which I kiked most

This church is right on the High Street in Market Harborough, but when you walk in it is so peaceful. Looks bigger from the outside but well worth a visit. Beautiful stained glass windows.

Situated right in the heart of the town is this amazing building which is kept in pristine condition. I am glad to say that this building is open each day and is a place you can
spen a short time away from the hustle and bussle of the town.

Parish church of Market Harborough, and was originally built in 1300, with the majority of the current building dating from around 1470. The church spire rises to 47m, with the oldest part of the tower being the west doorway, which dates from around 1300.
The Old Grammar School built on stilts, allowing the butter market to be held below the school. The built by Robert Smyth in 1614, has become an icon for the town.
The building was used as a school until 1892.

Walked past here and was mesmerised by the sundial. At first I though it was just a clock on the wall but then realised it was a sundial. Hung around for ages for the sun to come out to get the picture!
Now that is unusual!

Always love Churches architecture so here I am. It was open when I stepped in. No one was there and so quiet and peace inside. I like the big glass window with beautiful glass work.
