All of the staff at the marina were really lovely, the boat was spotlessly clean, also very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this marina, and only half a mile out of the pretty town of Market Harborough.

We only used the boat for 4 days because of the cold but were charged extra for fuel when we thought we would receive a refund. Not suitable for younger children.

We had a great day on the canal trip down to Foxton locks, we took loads of food and used the kitchen facilities to prepare lunch etc. A very nice boat and very easy to handle. All the family had a go at driving.

The boat was named Eastern Promise, it was clean and tidy and off we went to cruise the Midland Canals up to Crick, we also used Foxton Locks, our first time attempting so many locks at one go. The Lock Volunteers were magnificent.

Our second two week trip on a narrow boat. This is an active and interesting activity. It is not fancy. You see history and each other’s faces largely outside phone coverage. Yeh!
