I highly recommend booking a ceramic workshop with Katherine. My Mum and I attended a private 2-hour workshop in September 2024, where we made bespoke plaques. We both had such a fantastic time, that we booked again in February 2025 for a longer workshop. Both workshops were informative, fun, and relaxing. We will definitely be booking another session soon. Katherine is such a wonderful lady and a superb teacher. She is very knowledgeable and breaks each step down clearly to help guide you toward your finished item. She is really easy to talk to and is so patient, nothing is too much trouble. The workshops are held in her fantastic studio, which is warm and welcoming and very well-equipped. It is situated within a lovely garden and it is such a relaxing environment to create in. Wonderful experiences, I would definitely recommend!

I booked a group class with Katherine for my hen do this year and it was so much better than I anticipated! Right from the first point of contact, Katherine so friendly, polite and encouraging. I was given the freedom to choose my own design for all of my party to make which made it so more personalised and individual compared to other classes I'd researched. Our group was quite a diverse one including children as young as 6 and adults aged up to 60 along with guests with medical needs. Katherine was superb at making sure every single guest received the most out of their experience. She helped the guest with medical needs feel comfortable at all times and ensured they had everything they needed to make the class more accessible for them. Katherine also made the task accessible for all children too and was so kind and helpful when assisting them. Every single one of us loved the class so much! Even the reluctant artists! I can't recommend Katherine highly enough - not only is her own artwork extraordinary, but she makes you feel like you are capable of producing incredible artwork too. I've never been as proud of something I've made before! I cannot wait to book my next class and am even thinking of making this a family tradition! These group classes are worth every penny and Katherine is the friendliest, most welcoming, knowledgeable, inspiring and all round lovely instructor! Thank you so much Katherine!

Buying 2 people with no artistic talent a ceramic workshop experience does not give confidence for a successful day out. We needn't have worried. Katherine's expertise, and easy-going approach during the workshop, made this a surprisingly fun day. We did decide on our intended plaque projects in advance within what we thought were our capabilities, and this saved time and proved key to producing items we will actually use and display! Would definitely recommend, even for the non artist!

I purchased three one to one private lessons with Katherine and thoroughly enjoyed all three sessions. She is a very patient, caring teacher and helps you with your ideas and supporting you when need be. Her workshop is very professionally set up and she clearly explains everything. Katherine has such a wealth of knowledge and has shown me some interesting techniques and helped me to feel more confident with clay. Hopefully I will be able to book on to some of her workshops in the New Year and would not hesitate in giving the gift of a workshop to my friends and family.

I had a 1 -1 session with Katherine and I wanted to learn how to sculpture a head. Great tuition and I ended up with a random sculpture of Freda Carlos , beads and all. Great experience and it has given me the confidence to go forth and make more random pieces. Really enjoyed it.

This was a present from the husband and it did not disappoint. We were spoilt for choice with what option to go for, but decided on Sgraffito bowls. Katherine took the time to demonstrate and then it was our turn, she was there to help us if needed but it was all our own work! We both used the same reference but each came out with our own twist! Would highly recommend! Was a perfect date night. Thankyou again!

I was brought a voucher from my partner for my birthday last year. Since having our baby we haven’t had much time together other than with our baby girl. We really enjoyed our afternoon with Katherine. Was such a wonderful environment and she really went into detail and we learnt a lot and had a lot of fun, was so nice to get artistic and do something different. Highly recommend. My daughter booked for us both to do the workshop, as a Christmas gift. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Katherine gave great instructions and advice. We both opted to make a small tray and to have then glazed. We are really excited to see how they turn out one they have been fired and glazed. I would definitely recommend this workshop
