Another hidden gem that I stumbled across - spread over three floors it only cost £1 to visit and was jam packed with maritime history from both locally and around the country.

As it was late I was unable to visit inside but so good that this too, like the High Lighthouse, has been preserved and looked after.

Loads inside and losts to read n see but it seems it needs a bit of a clean if you do get a bit curious touching bits its close by to other lighthouse so worth a visit for £2

Very interesting place to visit plus little walk oit on the top viewing tower. I can thoroughly reccommend all the sites in harwich which are manned by the Harwich Society. The staff are volunteers and always very very helpful and knowledgeable so do ask questions...More
