Spent an extremely pleasant couple of hours in Saffron Walden. What a delightful place. Bridge End Gardens were meticulous. Not many flowers of course because of the time of year but there was a pleasant winter walk from the main road to the gardens, an informative visitor info centre, very clean toilets and a friendly gardener. Good now but it... More

It's a garden, with a maze and a play area near by. Filled about an hour of our day, but with a picnic and nice weather it is very nice

We love these gardens - they're well worth the journey out there. When the maze is open, it's a tonne of fun. Beautiful in both summer and winter

Great for picnics. Lots of different areas to explore and close to a good playground. The maze is always fun.

The gardens are beautiful and really well maintained. The facilities were clean and the information area was really interesting. The best part is the maze, which the kids loved. A great place to take a picnic and spend a couple of hours without spending any money.

I have never heard of this garden until doing some research on what is in Saffron Walden. This garden has to be a best kept secret. For a free to enter public park, they are unbelievable. So well kept, attractive, designed and interesting, with each area having a different theme. The hedge maze is magnificent. Well worth a visit.

this was a nice hour or so to wander around in. Perhaps a picnic would be a good and longer stay -- nothing amazing but a pleasant wander.
