This is simply one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited in the UK. We took the 20 mile drive to Lyme Regis while having a family break in Weymouth. The Jurassic coastline makes the hour trip well worth while with lots of...More

A pretty beach with a small stretch of coastal walk and some interesting fossil hunting if that is your thing. It is pebbly but no less lovely for that

Lyme is gorgeous, beach, Cobb, harbour area all very scenic and spotlessly clean. Very well worth a visit.

Good to walk on but can be steep in some areas and hard to walk on. It is funny to walk on a stony beach

Beautiful pebble beach in old fashioned seaside town. The day I went it was cold and blustery but that didn't put me off! Take the dog (out of season) and go for a brisk stroll.
