We visited back in May for the first time. Parking was plentiful and cheap. We were hungry so on arrival went straight to the cafe. Food was served in reasonable time, was hot and quality was what you'd expect from a beach cafe. On to find fossils. No idea how we were meant to find them but there was plenty... More

This was one of our must-do experiences while we are in the UK and we were not disappointed. Chris was very funny and jumping out of his skin to share his paleontology passion with us. Chris, I will forever think of you when the topic of Pentaradial Symmetry crops up next. Paddy was also very knowledgeable and easy to listen... More

We went as a family, 2 adults and 2 kids (2&4), and we loved it. Paddy and the two Tom's were really knowledgeable and interacted really well with out 4 yr old dinosaur aficionado. Even though we had to cut the walk short we went home with two fossils to make sure that both kids got one. The 4 yr... More

We arranged to meet Brandon quite early this morning whilst the tides were in our favour and before the beaches became too busy. Our group was myself and my brother and my two small nephews. Brandon was just superb, explaining the local geological detail to the adults whilst simplifying the facts and making it exciting for the little boys. He... More

I have been attending fossil walks with Brandon on and off for three years. He, and his dad Ian are fantastic. Brandon offers private and public walks which are excellent value and extremely informative. All skill levels are catered for and on this occasion we were with a family who had not been before and every individual was attended to... More

The title was chosen by my son who slept all the way home. I am so glad we booked with Brandon - he was great with the kids and knew where to take us to find fossils far from the madding crowd. You must be prepared to walk over rocks, pebbles and mud and be suitably dressed. Bring bags and... More

We booked a private fossil hunt with Brandon Lennon. Worth every penny, wonderful day with an amazing expert fossil hunter whose passion kept a middle aged couple and young son inspired and enthusiastic to return. If you want a buzz, fresh air, and a seriously new topic of conversation when you are back in the office - spend time with... More

One of the reasons we had visited Lyme Regis was for the fossils. We booked in advance as we had seen some walks were full. In the morning our guide Paddy arrived and we set off towards the beach along the seawall. Before starting Paddy gave us a talk about the history of the area and showed us some of... More

Booked for the walk with Paddy at the Museum, and had free Museum entrance with the walk ticket. Times vary, depending on the tides. Paddy explained that after a patch of very sunny weather and the summer season of fossil hunters trawling the beach, we were setting off at the worst time to find much - but his explanations were...
