We parked at the back of Rick Stein's cookery school which is close to the harbour. After a short walk we found ourselves in a delightful little fishing harbour full of unusual looking fishing boats. The harbour has a good range of small shops, coffee shops and restaurants.

We had an excellent time relaxing in Padstow Harbour. We had just got Pasties (a must for Cornwall and Padstow) and sat by the water soaking in the sunshine as we watched the boats and seagulls fly by. Well worth a visit - particularly on a sunny day!

Cornwall is full of beautiful places to visit but Padstow rates amongst the best. Parking is a bit of a problem so we park in Rock and get the passenger ferry across to Padstow. This adds to the fun of the visit, even when at low tide you have to walk along the beach, both sides, to complete the trip.... More

Beautifully quaint and traditional this gorgeous harbour on Cornwalls' north coast is not to be missed. VERY busy during the usual holidays so expect to queue for your pasty! Highly recommend the reasonably priced park n ride as parking is horrific- you have been warned! Once in you experience some of the countries best eateries with top chefs plying their... More

This really is a very good place to visit. The setting is delightful with plenty of places to sit and absorb the atmosphere. Peaceful when we visited with beautiful views.

Stayed in a small cottage in the centre of Padstow with easy access to all pubs and restaurants. There is good bus services to travel along the coast which was ideal for us as we were walking the South West Coast Path.

A lovely place to visit. Off season parking by harbour is easy. Plenty of places to eat or drink. Chough Bakery a must for a super Cornich pasty. Walk up trying Hill to left facing sea and you will get to a good vantage point and area to exercise your dogs.

We have been visiting Padstow for well over 40 years and from childhood through growing up and marriage to taking our own children have always considered Padstow as one of our favorite Cornish towns. It was extremely disappointing to visit in 2017 to find so many shops, restaurants, cafes now turned into Art galleries and fancy clothes stores. I will... More
