Great find!

Lovely place to take dogs, very safe and tucked away. Gorgeous beach through little woodland. Parking was free too!

Visited Padstow and it was heaving. We really didn't want to stay any longer, so jumped in the car and 10 mins later arrived at this lovely beach. Not many people there, clear sea, powdery sand, our dog LOVED it....what's not to like? Bliss....

Tregirls Beach is one of my favourites for plenty of space, safe swimming/paddling, spectacular scenery, peaceful. The only problem has always been no facilities. Parking is just about OK but access is only for fit people. If you can manage without ice creams and toilets its fantastic. I first came here over thirty five years ago and it hasn't changed... This is one of the local beaches in Padstow, accessible by foot. It does not have a cafe, toilets or an ice-cream van and for that we loved it! It is a big wide, sandy beach that stays virtually empty because others just don't want to walk that far and yet it is on your doorstep. I rolled my trousers... More

Sometimes I am lost for words, here it was because it windy so couldn't be heard. But, seriously this and the beaches that form together when the tide is low are just heavenly. Walking along and enjoying the view over the estuary, looking across at the houses and planning in you mind that you will live there some day. Some... More

Tregirls is a beautiful beach with stunning views of the Camel estuary. At low tide it is possible to walk across the sand for ages (beware of the incoming tide). Tregirls is not easily accessible and parking is restricted although in the busy season there is a car park. If peace and solitude is what you are looking for Tregirls... More

This beach is like a desert island. White sands and shallow beach stretches for miles when the tide goes out. Hard to get to but well worth it. No shop. No toilets. Just heaven.

So pleased we found this beach, we had it all to ourselves and our dog loved running along it. It was clean, quiet and offered stunning views we would definitely come back!

This is a lovely unspoilt beach with golden sand and warm shallow waters to paddle. Can bring the dog and sunbathe taking in the gorgeous views across the bay. No toilets or facilities but makes up for it in beauty and tranquillity. A real gem.

This is a lovely beach, lots of sand for making castles and if you walk along a ways, it's dog-friendly all year round. We brought out dog here for many walks from Padstow, along the coastal path. Very relaxing, lovely cooling sea-breeze and plenty of sea to paddle in when the tides in.
