This is a fab beach. The facilities are of a good standard- nice cafe with friendly service. Loo’s are 40p on top of car parking . I quiet like that as it keeps numbers down! It’s a good walk to either Polzeath or Rock which if you check tide times you can do via beach. David Cameron has a place in the road leading to the beach.. look out for him in the evenings..

Narrow lanes with few passing places but well worth a visit, dog friendly all year. Car park a bit expensive if you only want an hour or two, largely unmade and the public toilets were locked up when last there. Nice cafe. Good access to footpaths to Polzeath and Rock, must visit St. Endoc's church..

This is a wonderful sandy beach cleaned twice daily by the tides and safe for children to swim. Dog friendly. There are lots of adverse comments about the toilets but we locals are funding them assisted by the shop and cafe as Cornwall Council would no longer chip in. This is done through a community interest group and it's very expensive to fund the toilets especially as they keep getting damaged by people flushing poo bags into the loos which results in expensive repairs. The toilets are cleaned daily in the high season. But this is why we have to try to insist on collecting the 40p charge as running the loos is very expensive.

This great beach is at the end of a narrow road so you may have to reverse up or pull over to get there but it is worth it. Clean beach with lovely views and lots of friendly people and dogs
