What a great golf course, and what a well run Clubhouse given the current climate. Four of us took part in an Open, and it was superb, the course was extremely well presented and we had a great time. Slick greens and lush fairways, and the views, OMG the views, absolutely to die for, loved it! The clubhouse was warm and welcoming and the food, staff and service was excellent. We look forward to going back in the future.

Frustrated! I am walking from Rock to Polzeath .. I go up the hill, cross over the Terrace and - following the public footpath sign go past the car park, bear right following the obvious track, past some bushes and come out on a sort of cross roads in the middle of the course. There's a sign saying 'follow the white stones.' But there are no stones. My OS map says the path goes pretty much down the hill and up the other side. I walk down the hill but there's no way out. I walk about on the edge a bit, then back up to the top. The golfers are cheery and say they don't know (they're not local). There's nobody on a mower to help.. In the end I have to walk round through St Minver. Back on the north side of the golf course, yep, there's a sign - and bramble-filled track. Put your white stones down. Clear the path. Its the law.

Played the Church course the last week in July 2020, paid £95 for the privilege (without a buggy). Worth it. Golf on holiday is always expensive: you just have to accept it. First 3-4 holes it was cold and windy but when the sun came out it brings the place to life: the views are amazing, this is a great course and a proper test. Thoroughly recommended.

Visited today to arrange to play 2 rounds tomorrow, we are both single figure handicap golfers. The staff were rude & bad mannered, not what we expected at all. We were told by the old gentlemen bar tender that we were unable to have drinks or lunch today Sunday because we hadn't played golf today but tomorrow after we had played our golf we could. As you can well imagine we were furious. So as a result we decided not to play tomorrow Monday, they can stuff their course with that attitude. I went straight in the pro shop & told them about it & promptly spent a couple pounds on golf clothes. Apparently the pro shop & the golf club are run independently, there is definitely a bad atmosphere about the club when that happens. Having played Wentworth, the Berkshire & Sunnindale golf clubs which are all superb who in the hell do St.Enodoc think they are. Be sure we will tell all golfers what an awful pretentious club it is, save your money & spend it on playing a quality club like those mentioned or Saunton in North Devon which has two great courses, great food & friendly staff & pro.
