The beach is getting back to its glorious out of season emptiness and a circular walk along the dunes and out on to the beach is a joy for us and our dogs. There are rumours about dogs being kept on a lead rule about...More

Fantastic family beach, although it is a bit of a trek from the car park, it is well worth the walk. Brilliantly maintained and no sign of litter anywhere. Dog and family friendly.

Sandwiched between a night at Morston Hall and lunch at Burnham Market, Holkham is an ideal place to ‘reconcile’... People ( plenty ) & dogs ( lots ) aside, there are literally miles of wide open beach to be trodden and whilst not the most...More

Loved the beach at Holkham, it is quite of a long walk from the car park to the actual sea, but you have so much space it is lovely. Water was warm and clean and lovely to swim in.

A purpose built Lookout enables you to view the residents of the nature reserve thanks to the binoculars dotted around the windows. I recommend that you combine this with a visit to the unique beach.

Hi Sadie, There is a small section of the beach where nudism is allowed (this is to the left, direction Brancaster). The rest of the beach is not a nudist beach. Hope that answers your question.
