After visiting Wells several times in the past, this year we finally got round to using the beach railway. In fact, we used it twice, both times on the way back from the beach. Although the price per mile doesn't compete with a national rail...More

Lovely little train running during the high season with a fare of £1.50 each way. Perfect if you need to rest your feet after the nearly two mile walk from the centre of Wells to the beach.

Lovely little train especially for children with grandparents! Saves a fair walk back to the harbour in the heat of the day. Our dog Mango liked it too! Very nice little ride enjoyed by all.

Great little miniature railway But with seats in the Carriages a good size for Adults. Long ride for just £1.50. It made the long walk to the Beach much much shorter for we over sixties.

We have taken two trips on the train with our grandchildren aged 3 and 1 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lady taking the money was lovely and very accommodating. Would definitely ride again on another outing.

This train takes you from the town end down to the Beach - It certainly saves your legs and is nice for a one way trip at a very affordable £1.50.

It's a narrow gauge railway and the carriages are small, guess if the pushchair folds small enough it might fit, I don't know if there is a charge or if they let you travel with it when really busy though, sorry
