A warm welcome from the staff on duty when we arrived on na cold January afternoon. At first sight we could have been back in the 1950s but the comfort of the seats and the quality of the film was on a par with 21st...More

Sound system could do with an upgrade, distorted at times. Seats are very old and uncomfortable but at half the admission price of all the modern cinemas in the area, if its great value you want, at £4.50 its worth the rough bits! (£9+ elsewhere)

This was our first visit and a huge disappointment. We went to see aqua man and it was so loud it was deafening and sometimes hard to understand due to distortion caused by high volume. Anyway we enjoyed the film until a young lady employee...More

Lovely cheap cinema that's only ruined by people rustling crisp packets and crunching their popcorn throughout movies. But that's just what all cinemas are like I guess. The seats are not to uncomfortable which is a bonus too. Could do with having sci fi or...More

As mentioned in previous reviews this is an old theatre, you will not find chrome fittings and tinted glass and automated ticket machines, but that is it's charm. It offers exceptional value for money (£4.50 to watch a film) and popcorn and other treats at...More

This cinema is not a looker or modern at all but it is affordable and comfortable - my first choice always. It's not on top of all the movies but the big hits are always played and they even hold midnight screenings. Be warned of...More

Been going for around 35 years. Wonderful building and great value. The only criticism is the lack of ushers means that EVERYONE is on their phones !!

The cinema itself is great. It's inside what appears to be an old theatre and it gives the venue this unique charm. The seats are large and spacious and you have a lot of leg room. The view is decent as well. Everything is reasonably...More

Hi I am so sorry for late reply but I believe you can access the cinema in a wheelchair. They open the fire exit but I am not certain if you can get to see all films as there are 4 screens with only one on ground floor
