What a lovely place! First visit here today and know for sure we will be back! Such friendly staff. Loved the bridges, ponds and wildlife. Worth waiting in hide for glimpse of kingfisher which was spectacular. Only wish we waited longer in the hide as fellow visitors got some fantastic shots of kingfisher eating. Would say it is more suitable... More

Never been to Giverny to look at Monet's garden but I can't believe it is better than here. These gardens are beautiful, not large or glamorous but just beautiful, peaceful place to sit and admire what nature and mans imagination and hard work can achieve. Cleverly laid out to make the most of what they have with lots of secluded... More

A tribute to the work done initially and maintained to the present day. Info in supplied flier. A wonderful relaxing stroll around the many paths, ponds and river away from the hustle and bustle of normal day life. Great tea room, friendly staff and lovely and clean. Would highly recommend you visit this little gem.

The garden is delightful, quiet and very relaxing to stroll around, so much to photograph. I even caught a brief glimpse of a Kingfisher whilst in the bird hide. Excellent cake in the tea room and very friendly ladies serving. Lovely to be able to take dogs into the garden. There were some very reasonably priced plants for sale to.... More

Walking around Goodestone Water gardens was pure pleasure. The well maintained path passes next to many ponds and streams. If you go into the kingfisher hide there is a good chance of seeing Kingfishers very close. We did.!! There is a lovely cafe which has a wonderful variety of cakes and drinks. We got a very warm welcome from everybody.... More

Quite simply, Gooderstone Water Gardens are my idea of heaven on earth. The stunning beauty of the surroundings here are truly breathtaking. Make sure you bring your camera as, wherever you look there's an opportunity to take some beautiful photos. I can't stop returning to these gardens - it's like leaving the rat-race so far behind you once you arrive.... More

Another visit to this most tranquil of places. Enjoyed the gardens and attended, 'The Importance of being Earnest', in the evening, under a willow tree by a stream. What more could anyone wish for? Performance really high standard and location stunning. Very relaxed atmosphere. Children and well behaved dogs not only welcome in the gardens but at the performance as... More
