On the quayside in the north Norfolk coastal town of Kings Lynn there is a statue of George Vancouver who cam from the town and discovered Vancouver in Canada

A simple, clean and nicely restored harbour and quayside area next to the wide tidal river. Wander a bit further down the river to the Riverside cafe for a cup of tea and a slab of cake!

Good statue nr. Customs House and river. We were lucky to speak to 2 men who were part of the history of King's Lynn re-enactment, just before they started. It was paqrt of Heritage week end.
