Arranged for an all day van + driver, as four of us needed to go from Zurich to Basel, but also to stop and visit Mulhouse (Auto museum) and Colmar (France) on our own time. Our driver, Patrick, picked us up promptly at our hotel, and took us where we wanted to go and on our schedule (e.g. we took almost 4 hours to explore Colmar). Patrick was patient, and very professional. Also he's a very safe driver. We were very pleased with the communication and services of AlpTransfer, and would not hesitate to use them again. Although we had to pay in full prior to our pick-up, the firm provided the service exactly as we requested. They're excellent!

We ordered a last minute private transfer from Interlaken to Andermatt.
Locally nobody was able to provide the Service - Alptransfer succeded to provide a outstanding car available within very short period of time. Driver was very friendly.

During our recent travels across Europe we have had to use many transfer companies from train stations to our hotels and back. I must say that the team from Alp Transfer in Zurich have been the best so far. In both pick up and drop off processes we have been contacted by text message in advance and met on the platform itself. This morning our driver made an effort to find out our departure platform for us so he could drop us off as close as possible and then gave directions for us to get further information if needed. Great service, highly recommended

I was solo traveller came from Dubai to Czech Republic,Czech Republic to Switzerland and France. The company alptransfer exceeded my expectation. Where I am still in Czech Republic alptransfer already notify me about my pick up from airport one day prior which really amaze me. From the airport it took time for me to get out from the airport because I couldn’t find my luggage but everything was fine after. Alptransfer called me from my international number just to make sure I’m okay which really I felt so special as they really take care about you. Finally I saw Peter which patiently waited for me and even smiling after waited more than an hour. They showed how very professional they are very efficient in everything which I’m sure a lot of guest are giving them high score because of that. Thank you alptransfer and Peter for always on time and wanted me to reach my destination on time it’s highly appreciated . I would love to book again from your company once I visit your country again.

I highly recommend Alptransfer. I appreciate their professionalism. My flight was cancelled and I drop mail to Alptransfer to change the pickup date. Immediately I got a response from Alptransfer that they had arranged another vehicle for the next date. The Driver was very polite and timely available at Airport. I had hassle free transfer from Airport to home.

I received text notifications when our driver was waiting for us. Both ways the driver was on time. The drivers were friendly and helpful. Transport was of good quality. No issues whatsoever and would happily use again and recommend

I am used to take the train in Switzerland. With luggage it is not the best way to make a business trip. This company helps me to save time. Of course it costs but it worsts to pay 2 times more than the train.

I've used VIP-Transfers in my trip to Switzerland(Zurich airport - luzern - Grinderwald and from Gstaad to the airport).
Excellent service, quick response to the emails, car on time, and helpful and friendly chauffeurs. In my trip from.Gstaad to Zurich Airport we've ordered the Panorama Mini van, and it was an extremely awesome experience( I'll attach the photo and you'll know what I'm talking about)

This is fraud and the company is absolutely horrible in resolving the dispute. They will gaslight you to make you feel like you are the bad person when they scammed you bad. Me being accommodating and compromising to their ridiculous requests will be used by them as proof of me agreeing to their dishonest conduct. Also, Viator will not be helpful in the dispute process. I submitted a refund request and all Viator asked from me is to check a box from its pre-made list and none accurately described my situation. Then, Viator would deny my refund request by just listening to the travel agency without even asking me a single question. My payment dispute is pending with my credit card company and I also filed a complaint with the Ombudsman of the Swiss Travel Industry.
Here is what happened: I booked a private tour for up to two person for one day at the cost of over $ 1220. The description specifically says that it is a "private tour" which by definition means that I travel with people of my choice or myself. I was alone and I thought I’d pay for an expensive tour just so I don’t have to worry about anything as I had very limited time and was on my own. The tour was booked and confirmed for Saturday. Then came Friday, the tour organizer texted me and said that they didn’t have enough drivers and would ask me to join a three person group and would give me a refund of 180. At that point, I thought the tour fee was per person and I also assumed that this agency was honest and would not overcharge me for things I didn't get. I only had Saturday left for my activities and it would make it extremely difficult for me to find alternative things to do and so I said I could agree to join strangers if that was the only option. More importantly, when they first informed me of this change, the free cancellation period had already expired. If I cancelled, they would have charged the full amount.
So, I had no choice but to agree to compromise no matter what I wanted. Also, as I was in a different country trying to have a good time, I wanted to be as accommodating as I could. After I said I would be open to be with others, they said they would check and get back to me and also said that they would work with me to get my departure COVID test as I told them that if I am going with others I’d like to be picked up last so I could get my already scheduled COVID test. They didn’t contact me and at late Friday night, I reached out and asked if my tour tomorrow was still going to happen. Then, they responded and said, yes and you will be in your one person private tour. However, when I woke up early Saturday morning, they texted me again and told me that I will be joining a three person group instead. At that point, I had no choice but to agree. The guide Paul was great and the other three people were wonderful. However, it became clear to me that the three of them paid a total of 1500 or something for their tour which covers up to 4 persons and at the same time, the tour company charged me alone for over 1000. In other words, the tour company cancelled my private tour and combined it with an existing tour but charged full price for both tours when only one tour took place. I requested for a partial refund as soon as I found out about this hoping that it was just an honest mistake on their part. Then, the company denied my request and claimed that they pay Viator a commission and therefore they don’t get the full amount I paid. They further claimed that they had to order a bigger card so we could be comfortable. Mind you, I paid 1200 for a day and I was sitting in the back of a car facing the wrong direction fighting neck pain caused by having to turn my head certain way. Also, I didn’t demand a bigger car. They had to just to get the number of people in. By their logic, any solo traveler who booked this trip and pay the full price for a "private tour" can simply be lumped into one car and they will be justified to charge over $3000 for one trip that is worth only $1,000 or so. This is simply wrong and dishonest.
I am in shock of how dishonest a legitimate Zurich business can be and I am going to dispute the charge and report accordingly. I really hope this won't happen to anyone ever again.
