We spent almost an hour relaxing and taking in the view during our one-day trip to Sigtuna on the boardwalk. It was a gorgeous day with blue sky with layers of clouds that were constantly changing shape and colour with moderate wind. The yellow lotus...More

Walk down to the waters edge and take a seat on the Boardwalk. It's a nice place to relax on a sunny day.

It's lovely walk with bicycle path along the fringe of the lake . There are a lot parking lots and chairs for sitting on the bank, fishing, jogging.

The boardwalk is very nicely made and offers great opportunities for a nice stroll or a sunbath with great views on the lake.

Very calm and relaxing place for stroll but not really a place for a swim or sun bathing. Was worth the walk but certainly no reason to spend more than 30 minutes here.

Ideal walk if you want to be close to nature and relax in cold days. I suppose will be a very busy place in Summer, though.

Walked here when quite windy, so it feels like a sea-short. Close to town with the tiny houses. Easy to reach from Stockholm train and bus).

Sigtuna is located close to the airport Arlanda and about 60 km north from Stockholm City. A perfect place to spend an afternoon enjoying the sights ad medieval city walking or in cafés. Best time to visit is May/June. Highly recommended.
