This little museum is worth the small admission price to spend an hour or less exploring the fascinating array of Viking-era artifacts found in Sigtuna. We also got some lovely gifts in the gift shop.

A two hour visit to Sigtuna was included as part tour of significant attractions of the countryside near Stockholm. While not a destination spot, we spent an enjoyable two hours looking at the five hundred year old church and small attractive village.

Perhaps Sigtuna is the only suburb of Stockholm that has free toilets!! Sigtuna is a lovely city. The architecture is traditional and Swedish in character. There is one café that is thrilling and you must bring your camera so that you can take a photo of the interiors. It is called Auntie Brown.
