If you are planning a trip to Figueres to see the Dali museum avoid August weekends. The world & his wife are there. Seriously, book on line to avoid long queues. There is a lot of Dali's work here but 75% is for connoisseurs only....More

Even though I was still really 'tired' from the night before, I still fully enjoyed visiting this awesome place. The inside of the building is as spectacular as the outside. The museum was like a labyrinth (to me) and that perfectly captured the spirit of...More

I really enjoyed the night visit of the museum! I waited in front of the museum before it opened for 45 minutes and went inside first. Ok there is a lot to see and you don't really know where to go first or where to...More

Locals recommend on-street parking on the weekend but just follow signs for ample convenient car parking - don't despair even multi-storey car parking paid by the minute is a reasonable value. No prior Dali knowledge required - the layout is compact, but do take time...More

This is a kind of "Must see" museum! Even though I was not really a big fan of Dali, this museum is amazing, very unique and definitely worth to spend here some time and money for the entry. I would dare to say it is...More

This museum gave me a thoroughly complete overview of Dali's career. Everyone is familiar with his surrealist pieces, but his others are just as impressive. The accompanying special exhibit of his jewelry creations showed another facet of his talent. I'd give this a five star...More

We booked an nighttime visit (22.00), which was good as a believe there were fewer people than during the day. Also, we booked the tickets in advance on the Internet which speeded up the process of getting in. Once inside, it's interesting just wandering around...More

This is a must see museum/theatre in Spain. Wonderfully surrealistically unpredictable from start to finish - with so much to take in and talk about over tapas and a drink for days afterwards. Take your time and a good friend with you. Highly, very highly...More

The Dali Theatre-Museum in Figueres (where Dali was born) is quoted as being the largest surrealistic object in the world. It occupies the former Municipal Theatre, a XIX century construction which was destroyed at the end of the Spanish Civil War. Dali said that this...More

Firstly, let me say that this is quite simply the best museum I've ever been to. I didn't know too much about Dali before the visit, though I do like a few of his paintings. I certainly didn't expect to fall in love with this...More
