This building was the residence of the Dalà family when the great Salvador was born. Not the entire building of course, just at number 6 on the ground floor where Salvador DalÃ's family had a notary.
Today it's a private building not accessible to the general public. There's a plaque outside to commemorate the birth of Salvador Dali in 1904.
Not much to see really, but worthwhile visiting as a part of a Salvador Dali trail.

If you want to follow the Dali Theme through his life while in Figueres you can just walk to the town and see this building where he was born and lived few years. There are family pictures on the walls outside of the building but you are not able to enter the building.

well it can only be visited from the outside ...seems they are trying to obtain the funds to open it up as a museum like in Cadaques and Pubol but not yet ...nice building so

It seems as if the building will be renovated one day. In the meantime one can see and read a few facts about Salvadori Dali.

This is a quick spot to visit, as you cannot go inside. It is a beautiful building, and there are photographs of the Dalà family and some text blocks printed against it to give some context. It would be lovely to see more, but unfortunately, that's not the case.
