Small, well presented public garden
Sep 2020
This garden in central La Orotava climbs up the side of a hill and offers views down to the sea. It is attractive and well maintained but small.

A free must to visit jewel at la Orotava
Feb 2020 • Couples
This is a very beautiful piece of art that offer you an amazing view. It is hard to find the history of this public park with amazing manicure gardens. After asking to workers there, we were told the city of la Orotava takes care of the garden.

Steps, so many steps, but there are plenty of seats amongst lovely plants too. Great views across the Oratova valley

A formal garden with an interesting history
Feb 2020
This garden features the mausoleum of a man who was a Free Mason. It's beautifully laid out on a hill, so it's a somewhat steep walk from top to bottom. There are nice views of the town from the top of the garden.

Pleasant place for a stroll.
Jan 2020
An interesting historical garden in the heart of La Orotava. Worth a visit if you are in the area but not really worth travelling to see specifically. If you are a serious gardener or plantsman you will probably be rather disappointed. The planting is very uninteresting and could be so much better than it is. Whilst he structure and layout is interesting, unfortunately the hard elements overshadow the actual planting. It's a pleasant public space with great views and an interesting history but very disappointing in terms of plants. The small botanical garden next door is fabulous.

Orotava is so beautiful!
Nov 2019
These gardens are one of my favorites in Orotava. It's perfectly maintained. On top of the garden you can see the mausoleum. Who wouldn't love to be burried on this place?
What a view!

Beautiful flowers in terraced gardens, great views
Sep 2019
It's worth the stroll to the top to see the mausoleum and the great views overlooking the town, down to the sea and Puerto de la Cruz. There is only one entrance and exit, though, so if you walk down to the lowest level, you have to climb back up to leave the gardens. Get a map at the visitor center, as the entrance is not visible unless you are right there.

grate mirador
Sep 2019
The garden is large and beautiful.
Well designed, many fountains.
Overlooks the northern part of the entire city.
On a beautiful day you can see Puerto de Cruz from here.
The place and the view are worth the arrival.
Go to the top, where everything unfolds before you

WHY CLOSED DOWN?
Jun 2019 • Solo
Unacceptable prolonged closure no idea why. By all accounts this multi terraced free to access space is very attractive and looking in on it would have been a pleasant dander. As part of a tour of old la Orotava I was looking forward to this spot with it's splebdid panoramic views. Shame.
