What a great experience! My pilot was former Swedish champion Nils Carlsson who worked hard to find us the thermals to give us the lift to altitude that we needed. We were airborne about 40 minutes and the flight ended with a very gentle landing on the beach at La Caleta. I can't recommend this enough. Nils, Simon , Luka, are a great bunch of guys who run a very professional, safe outfit and will move mountains to send you home smiling. As I say, wonderful. Like everyone on the island they've suffered a lean time with lockdown etc. so if you can support them then please do. (They're doing some great deals right now whilst there is a shortage of tourists). Thanks again guys. It was magnificent!

Amazing experience-Fantastic pilots

Simon picked the 3 of us up from our accommodation and was very friendly and knowledgeable. One of the party was nervous about the flight but Simon sooner calmed her nerves
We upgraded to the silver flight from the bronze, at our request, no pressure from Simon
My pilot was a real gentleman from Italy named Umberto. His attention to detail and coaching from start to finish made the experience 100% perfect.
We will all talk about this experience for many years I’m sure.

we saw the descents of these beautiful parachutes from our hotel and we decided to experience the thrill of flight too.
the guys immediately inspired us with confidence and proved to be very prepared and professional

They are really nice and orofessional guys who made me feel really safe, even though i'm afraid of height. When we were coming down, my instructor started to so some tricks but I didn't feel safe and he stopped immediately and the rest of the flight was perfect. I highly recommend them, thank you a lot for this incredible opportunity to fly over the ocean!

WOW AMAZING

WOW! What an absolutely amazing experience! Super nice and friendly team, safety is top priority, so even the most scared will feel at ease (that would be me) !!! Myself and my friend did this for my birthday and I had the best day. The pilots are AMAZING! We had Simon and Nils , you guys are awesome! We were lucky enough to make it to the beach landing , and we stayed there to watch these all day long. We had a few drinks with the team after the last landing, and I had one of the best birthdays ever, THANK YOU. Book with these guys, it will be brilliant 🤩 🪂♥️

Unforgettable experience

Wow. I can't thank enough to Lucas (the pilot) and Alona (the driver) which made this experience unbelievable. Although I was quite scared in the beginning and I did question a lot my decision of doing this, they made it seem so stressless and truly enjoyable. Very friendly and good people while also being very professionals. Thank you!

For anyone having second thoughts about doing paragliding in Tenerife: Just do it with this amazing team and you'll have a lifetime memory.

Would not recommend if your from south of the UK

When we got picked up from the hotel the driver was very rude after he asked where we were from, then the other guys Simon and I can’t remember the other twos names were being funny and talking in Spanish about us not knowing we can understand Spanish it ruin the paraglide

They make you film the flight with a go pro even if you say you don’t want too and pressure you into trying to buy the recording which they want €30 for a send on WhatsApp or €40 for a crappy memory card

I would not recommend them they are bullies if you don’t pay them the money for the photos they act funny with you.

Dear Dan, This is Simon writing. Firstly I'd like to thank you for taking your time to write a review, albeit negative. I take your criticism very seriously as we always aim to give maximum customer service and pleasure. However, we seem to have failed with you and for that I can only say I'm deeply sorry. I cannot answer for our drivers behaviour other than that I find it very surprising and I myself would like to know more regarding this. You also mention us speaking about you in Spanish. I find this quite mystifying, firstly because we simply wouldn't show this lack of respect and secondly because our team consists of non Spanish speaking pilots, myself being British. We have two that speak Spanish but they are not present this summer. None of us others are competent enough in Spanish to hold even a simple conversation. English is our only common language. We always try our best to interact with our guests both out of pure interest and to bond in order to lessen nerves which do increase as we drive up the mountain. Joking and Laughing with our guests is a wonderful part of our job. But laughing at our guests just feels very alien to me. Regarding the filming of the flight. Yes, we do record every flight we make for two very good reasons. The first being for safety reasons,if an accident/incident were to occur it means that we would have everything documented for analysis. The second reason being that many clients initially say they don't want the film but change their minds upon landing. They are then very upset when informed that the flight was not filmed. We put a lot of effort into the filming and photographing of the flight. Doing our very best to capture the amazing views, moments, angles and emotions. Purchase is always optional and we gladly show the material before purchase allowing our guests to make their own decision in their own time. We very often send a pic or two for free (in this case via what's app) to out guests that choose not to purchase the full material purely so they can have a memory with them to share with friends and family. We do not send by what's app. The 30€ is for a download to a smartphone via special card readers that we use. Most guests find this the best solution because they can immediately enjoy watching the material on their phone and share their experience with friends via social media. The material is very high resolution, about 4-5GB. Simply impossible to send via what's app. The second option if a guest doesn't have a smartphone or has insufficient memory space on his/her phone is to purchase the actual memory card from the camera. We here charge an additional cost of 10€ to cover the cost of the 8GB memory card. I can only apologise once again for not leaving you with the positive experience that we strive after. The worst expirince ever

I was very excited about the flight for a long time and I was looking forward to it, first it was postponed by 2 days due to the weather. But then during the flight, it only looked like a fall from above and a quick landing.
What's the strangest of the 5 people who took off, only I didn't get anywhere and landed after 5-8 minutes of flight.
When I talked to the boss after the flight and said that I was dissatisfied because the flight was too short and there was no time to enjoy it - he called me idiot!!! And he said he did not guarantee anything. Then he said that he would give me a free flight, but he would not offer me a free flight because I don't deserve it ... this man is definitely not serious.
I advise against anyone using this company and their services. After an unsuccessful flight, it's best to nod to him and pretend everything is ok .... I've traveled all over the world but I haven't met such hopeless customer service yet !!!
Go to other companies in Tenerife, they offer much better experience

Maybe just a bad day

Well, i'm usually not into writing bad reviews, but when things add up a bit too much, I guess something has to be said.

The first thing I should say is, if you aren't able to be polite, and keep your stress to yourself, than maybe you shouldn't work with tourists. The major problem was the "boss", just not being polite at all, being very rude on the phone, very stressed the whole way, and putting up fake smiles when he starts filming the "joyful experience".

We were 4 clients on the trip, including 2 young chinese guys. In the trip up the mountain, they were just blatently talking about those boys and making fun of them. Maybe thinking those boys didn't speak english.

I got lucky and flew with a nice german guy, but wasn't the case with my friend who got to be with "the boss".

Then another akward thing is the filming part, which is kind of forced onto you. They dont ask you if you mind being filmed and make you hold the camera, and actually ask you to smile and put thumbs up when pictures are being taken. So while the flight is about 5-10 min long, you have to hold a selfy stick (whether you want it or not), which kind of ruins your own experience of being up there

Besides it all, the experience was actually good, I just think "the boss" had a bad day or something, and forgot he was dealing with humans and not walking wallets, or maybe has been doing this for too long and forgot how to transmit his own passion.

Hope your experience will be a better one.

Hi Steven, Simon here, The boss, as you for some reason like call me. I’m very sad to read your reflections of your experience with us. Both myself and the whole team take pride in the fact that we click so well with our clients and have a fantastic time both before after and during the flight. I hand pick my pilots after both flying and social skills and we have a strong policy/culture of really trying our best to give the best existir be ever. So once again I’m both saddened and sorry you didn’t feel this. The flights is usually about 29 minutes depending on weather conditions. The last week has been what’s called in meteorological terms a stable week with lack of thermals (bubbles of warm air that we can rise in and sustain flight) but even then the flights are never under 10 minutes abs that’s a worst case scenario. Regarding the camera, in these modern times almost every cliebt is very keen on greying great footage/photos of their experience to spread on social media. Yes. We ask you to hold the camera during take off abs landing abs other parts of the flights. We are after all pilots abs need to control the glider for both safety (of course) and performance reasons. But we do at suitable moments take the cajeta snd get the fantastic footage that we know how to get and yes of course we ask our pilots to smile and put thumbs up etc. Who would want pics of themselves looking nervous or not even looking at the camera. The photos are an extra service that costs and we want to give the best material we can. Our policy is to record all flight because many clients that state in the beginning get they are not interested in the Film or photos change their minds after landing. It’s rather disappointing then if we haven’t recorded. Also we want everything document in the event of any incident. This is good for both our clients and us (not that it’s ever been needed). Apologies once again, we strive after 100% customer satisfaction but obviously failed this time. I hope you at least enjoyed the bird like feeling of free flight.

Fantastic Unforgettable Experience

I saw the paragliders landing at the beach next to the Sheraton in La Caleta, while I was having a beer with my wife. So impressed I signed up for a flight the next day
AirSports was very professional in every way. I came for a beach holiday and they loaned me shoes and a fleece for the flight duration! I have caught hundreds of flights due to my job, but this was the nearest thing to flying like a bird I think you can ever experience. AirSports take time to talk and discuss the experience and spend time with you
