Walked from Playa Adeje, past the Hippy Colony nestled in the caves overlooking beautiful coves, and arrived at El Puertito which has a small cafe which serves food and drinks on the quayside, a complete contrast to the hotels in Costa Adeje. A lovely walk.

This is an odd little place, but well worth a visit for an insight into what Tenerife used to look like. The massive hotel and apartment complexes are approaching fast, so go there while you can. It wasn’t busy when we visited, and we enjoyed...More

Found the village by mistake and, as it was a sunny Saturday afternoon, there was nowhere to park unfortunately. Will check it out on next visit to the island!

Quaint place with one local cafe (closed Mondays) only open until 6 when we visited. Good value food. Lovely safe sandy beach but only at low tide.

Pro: unspoiled nature, there is a mini restaurant and a promenade, calm water. Con: a bit dirty in places.

Playa Del Puertito was very close to our Hotel, we went on a bit of an exploratory walk and found this beach. It is picturesque. You meet many locals using it. The town is literally built out of the cliffs fantastic to see.

We didn't manage to see turtles but saw dirty and overcrowded beach with many boats swimming nearby. If those 4 turtles still live there I really sympathize with them.

This is a lovely little sandy bay, good for swim or snorkel, with parking and a super little bar overlooking the sea. However, as you approach down the little road, you will see the caravans where people obviously live. We were stopped by a couple...More

My favourite beach, there was rock pools with plenty of fish, crabs and star fish and apparently there are turtles further out which many boats brought snorklers to but we didn't swim this far out. Lovely little cafe lots of doggie visitors which we adored....More
