About Hurricane Hipica - Day Tours
Galloping along a virtually endless beach on magnificent Andalusians with only the sound of pounding hoofs and crashing waves is an experience no one should pass up! We are adventure-addicted horse lovers and have worked out the most beautiful routes for everything from day-rides to week-long tours. Sunny southern Andalusia practically guarantees great weather all year: even in winter the temperature rarely falls under 16 ° C (61 ° F). In summer a constant, refreshing breeze blow. As a result we enjoy ideal riding weather the entire year. Our stables are located directly on the beach at the bay’s center and offer a view of the African coast. From our location you have direct access to the most beautiful beaches of the Costa de la Luz, as well as to the inland nature reserves offering many, breathtaking destinations.

Very disappointed today. My girlfriend has really looking forward to her horse ride along the beach. Ruined by the girls who took them. Constantly on her mobile while riding. Generally very ignorant. Not a great experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOUR

I love Tarifa. The amazing beach. The horses and stables are great. They seem well looked after and every ride you have a ‘ experienced’ person BUT. The horses are unpredictable yet beautiful. The riding experience is amazing. But there are huge dangers which I found out. There are many many lite flyers which we try to avoid as they are dangerous and flown by idiots most of the time. And they can spook the horses the riding tack I’ve experienced and matching up of persons ability to horse I feel is inadequate. My reins felt like an elastic band. No controlling which made me feel very unsafe Once I was given a beautiful horse with a double rein. I had no idea how to use this and was given 5 mins instruction then was told off on my way out of the paddock for not using them correctly ( I think a German lady owner!). The horses are fresh and the high spirits combined with the endless stretch of beach and thoughts of going home back to their stable made my horse ‘ bolt’. I had no control. My stretchy reins made no difference. My 15 years experience made no difference. Heading straight for sunbathers I felt nothing until I was woken up lying in the beach. Trainers off. Everything hurt but nothing broken. Maybe my pride. Hire plus one bolted back to their stables. I hobbled back with the help of the riders aid. One year later stillnot back in the saddle. No. Follow up emsil or call from the stables to ask how I am. No apology. Nothing. The point I’m making is BECAREFUL because they don’t care €€€

Went for a 1.5 hour experienced ride along the beach. Very impressed with the stables and the way the horses are kept, they have very high standards of animal welfare which sadly isn’t the case everywhere in Spain. The horse I rode was forward going but well mannered, and it was a beautiful ride cantering along the beach at sunset. The staff spoke excellent English which was lucky as my Spanish is not good! My guide, Katrina, was great company too. Highly recommend.

Andalusian horses are known for their well mannered temperaments, and these horses do not disappoint. The horses are trained to responsive without the need of a bit. The horses do what you ask of them. Staff are friendly and very nice. They provide helmets and boots. There are a few English saddles but mostly Spanish. We went on three rides on the beach and into the mountains. We would have gone on more rides if there had been some additional places to ride. In the summer the longest ride is 2 hours. They group rides by experience level, but twice we were the only guests. When you arrive at Hurricane Hotel the stable is on the left.
