We had one day for the kids to try windsurfing for the first time ever and it was great for them. Stéphane was very friendly with the kids form the moment they were preparing all the material. Once in the water, he always made them feel safe and giving them precise instructions to be able to try on their own after a while. Another day we tried paddle surf and although the wind was picking up, they were able to really enjoy. Whether for the first time or for more days, I strongly recommend Wind &Water Experience for any age.

Great experience during our holiday in Tarifa. We learned the basics of windsurfing in 3 days in our mothertongue French. Stephane is very flexible to fit the course to the best wind conditions of the day. Definitly approve !

To the point efficient coaching with focus on improving sailing techniques, and then learning new tricks. I highly recommend Stephane as instructor/coach. He is observant and gives to the point advises to improve your windsurfing. The lagoon inside the beach gives good opportunities for beginners and intermediates to train techniques in a more sheltered environment.

We can only recommend Stephane. He is a very good teacher - even for absolute beginners. Wherever you‘re from - he speaks englisch, german , french and spanisch fluently. And whatever age you are. Even the oldest of is ( 48 and 52) learned to manage windsurfing in 3 days ;-).

Thanks Christina for your review about your 3 days windsurfing basic course in Tarifa. We had difficult conditions with poor wind the first day then medium wind and waves the other days.
Though, you did great, and prooved you can start windsurfing at a certain age still, and, above all, have good fun and enjoy it!

Great experience! My kids (8, 12, 15) and myself took courses with Stephane few times and I see the improvements we all did. My two oldest sons are now sailing on their own and are able to prepare the material like true professionals.
I feel more confident and daring even with strong wind.

I went many times to practice water sports with Stephane, winter and summer.
He explains very well surfing and windsurfing. I was able to manage very fast those two sports and could be independent and rent his material to go on my own.
Stephane is very nice and prices are good comparing to the other options in tarifa...
highly recommended!!

Stephane is an excellent and very patient instructor. My husband who is more advanced and I who am a beginner, took a class together and really enjoyed our time windsurfing at Punta Paloma in Tarifa. I highly recommend Wind and Water Experience and Stephane if you want to take windsurfing lessons in Tarifa. We had excellent service and lessons.

Stephane was going through the theoretical part at the begonning od thé lesson,then we Went to water (lagoon) to learn to understand how wind And windsurf communicate.we Are a family of four (2 boys 6 And 8 yrs) And we all enjoyed IT.kids Are trully Fast learners So they windsurfed, learnt how to turn around, etc. During just one lesson! Thé way Stephane explains things Is Very undersandable for people of all ages. We Are Back home now and the kids keep talking about this experience as one of the peak experience of our Holiday. We only took one class but i can imagine spending a week there just fór windsurfing!

Super! Stephan went above and beyond to make my first windsurfing experience a blast! He is an experienced teacher who knows his tricks. He is super motivated and he likes his job, which means that he is very dedicated and with a big smile. He helps you setting-up the tools, he explains how to use them, gives practical demonstration and he is always there in the water to give help when it is needed. Plus, he is lot of fun. This weekend I am going back to Tarifa to take more classes with him. Super!

Great experience with Stéphane. We tried to surf for the first time and he explained us everything very well. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to surf. Stéphane is an amazing teacher and host, everything was well organised and relaxed. We would definitely come back, once we’re in Tarifa again.
