I wanted a lesson for my son who is a beginner rider, so I wanted a school that I could trust. I did some checking and chose Rodri and Carla. Perfect decision - very skilled and trustworthy.
We didn’t talk find out that Carla was a World Champion kitesurfing until after the lesson when we visited the Ocean Rodeo shop, which has all of her trophies on display.
Thank you. Flappi the dog is cool on the beach also - he is never far from her side.

I’ve never touched a kite and my time in Tarifa was limited by one day, but after only a few hours with this course I learned all the essentials to take it to the next level. The course was fun, focused and customized for my level. Highly recommended!

First time in Tarifa in order to learn Kite Surfing. Everything went smooth, communication with Rodri (head of the surf school) was easy, our trainer was chill and very helpful. We got to a descent level within a week, thanks to the trainer. It was so easy and relaxed compared to all the other kite schools.
We will come again and would definitely recommend it !

Thanks to the whole team! Great service, best instructors in Tarfia and a lot of fun. They were very open and we were 100% happy with everything. The material used was in perfect condition (not every company uses the best quality) and although the sea wasn't perfect they managed the situation and we learned a lot. For sure we will be back.

Perfect school to learn kitesurfing!
- Very good instructors: they know what they are doing (great kitesurfers themselves), good explanations, always around to help you out, I always felt safe
- Great organisation + easy communication via whatsapp. They really check out the wind conditions several times a day and let you know when and where to meet. They also arrange shuttles from Tarifa if needed.
I definitely would choose the same school again!

I've been to tarifa with my girlfriend in order to learn kiting. Before we started our trip we got in contact with rodri, the owner of the kitefun tarifa, and booked a five day course for beginners. We met basically at the spot with our teacher (carla, a worldtour kitepro) and got some basic instructions after about 15 minutes we were on the kites and learned how to control it. The atmosphere was very relaxed and gentle even if we made some mistakes for the 1000 time carla was in a good mood. She was always with us in the water and really close to us which made it especially comfortable for my girlfriend because she had some respect of the kite at the beginning.Carla removed that.
We had some difficulties with the wind so we postponed two days(some other kiteschools went on teaching to get their classes done). As the wind wasn't better we met at another spot which was about 20 minutes away.
Afterall we all were able to kite after 5 days of schooling and had a blast with carla and rodri!
I especially liked the relaxed familiar way of teaching us.
I can fully recommend the kitefun school to anyone who doesn't want to get treated like a customer but like a friend in his kiteschool!

Thanks to Rodri and team for getting me up and riding in a few days! Great instructors, fantastic service and nice people! You also get your very own mascot in the form of “Flappy” the kite dog! Thanks again guys, I will be back.

I would like to recommend kite lessons at Kite Fun Tarifa to everyone. I am a beginner, and have done several hours of lesson on different occasions with different teachers. I can honestly say that I found the lessons I had from Rodri from Kite fun were by far the best. He is very experienced and knows how to teach, he explains the different steps one by one in a way that is clear and achievable. I think I made a lot of progress in the two hours of this lesson. In short, kite fun is a great kite school.
