We provide proven techniques to help you learn quickly, safely, and with lots of fun. As a hands-on, owner-run business, we prioritize personalized service, ensuring top-quality instruction. Our teachers are IKO and FAV qualified, and incredibly dedicated to your progression. Courses are tailor-made with step-by-step guidance in reduced groups, semi-private, or private lessons, including all equipment, insurance, and boat rescue. At the end of your course, you’ll receive an official IKO card to kite independently worldwide. We renew our material yearly to ensure you the best experience and rely on excellent brands. Our team speaks English, Italian, German, French, and Spanish, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. We were with a family of 2 adults (50+) and 2 adult children (18 and 20). No previous kite experience at all. Due to a short stay in Tarifa we (regrettably!) only had 2 days, and took the semi-private lessons of 2x 3 hours. Which is rather short to make any progress, but we had a great time! Our kids made super progress, thanks to both our teachers Basil & Clem, under very warm supervision of Giulia, manager of the school with whom communication is very transparant, pro active and joyful. In one word: excellent - we had a great time
and we definitely would recommend Tarifa Max to all, where you don’t have even to be an athlete, just enjoy being on the beach and the water in the strong winds of Tarifa

Highly recommend this kitesurfing school.
I booked 3 private sessions in total.
Giulia was very pedagogical, gave clear guidance throughout (also in the water thanks to headset provided) and was fun to practice with. The coach was always making sure that the session would take place when the wind was favorable.
In addition, the gear provided was top-notch.
Overall, considering that kitesurfing is a pricey sport, this was good value for money.

I had the pleasure of attending my first-ever training with Tarifa Max Surfing, and it was an incredible experience. My 5-day course was expertly led by Matilda and Julia, who shared their vast knowledge and guided me every step of the way. Booking the training through WhatsApp was quick and easy, with prompt responses. While kitesurfing may look easy, it’s definitely a challenging sport, especially with the constantly changing conditions. However, I never felt overwhelmed. Along with their professional guidance, Matilda and Julia provided invaluable mental support that encouraged me to keep going without feeling pressured about my progress.

Really great staff! They were fun, kind and patient with us in the learning proccess. Clem was great with us, he walked us through all the basics of kite control the first day. From there we learned how to body drag, move in the water with our board and by the fourth day we were able to water start with having no previous water sport experiance. I highly reccomend a private course unless you and your partner/friend will be on the same level of fitness and ability to learn. Overall, the entire Tarifa Max crew were amazing, I hope to go back to Tarifa and book with them again in the future!

What a great experience with Tarifa Max kitesurf School!! I attended a semi-private course with two friends for a total of 7days. Giulia and her team are incredible… all very professional with great equipments but also funny and very calm. They will not only let you ride on your kite in few days (of course after several attempts… don’t get frustrated at the beginning, I swear they will bring you there!! ) but also fall in love with this sport. Can’t wait to be back!

I have been with Max Kitesurf for three years now, I started from scratch, and they have progressively taught me, putting teachers in line with my way of evolving. It is a great school and the good vibes and professionalism are noticeable, they are part of my annual vacation. If it were not for them, Tarifa would not be the same. Fantastic team and fantastic experience. Kite surfing is challenging but this school will adapt the training to your natural skills and level.
We had a class in Spanish and English and both worked perfectly fine.
Note that the time for the lessons will change daily due to wind forecast, but the school manager will let you know the day before so that you can arrange your plans.

Easy communication to organize the class, always trying to adapt to the needs of the client.
