I love this beach, especially when it is blowing a gale in March and you have to run for cover into one of the few beachside restaurants that remains open all year. One sheltered you can feast on fresh tuna and Spanish red wine.On the other hand, you can soak up the rays in the height of summer, lie on... More

As spanish, this is the best beach of Spain. Still keeps the nature and is free of civilization, hope for a lot of time... Clear water, great sand, dunes... a nature place to enjoy and enjoy the energy of Cádiz and Starit of Gibraltar.

The beautiful clear blue sea, the wonderful long sandy beach and even the walk to the top of "the hill" was magical including the views once you are at the top. Lots of beach bars but our favourite was El Tucan a must for fresh fish.

Lovely beach to stay at. Very exposed so you need an umbrella & plenty of sun cream if you don't want to get burnt from the sun! Some roman ruins (free if you present your EU passport), plenty of large (almost white) sand dunes and a few bars on the beach front. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a lot of wind when we were in Tarifa and Bolonia. In Bolonia we found sun beds near the local restaurants. Very nice and very good prices at food/drinks.

If it's really windy in Tarifa you can visit this beach, surrounded by hills it will give some protection from the hard winds.

Lovely, clean beach. Just don't go looking to sunbath when there's any wind. Serious sand blasting which stings.
