During our time at Educare Adventura at Nerja we had a relatively pleasant time. Initially on arrival, we found the operation to be rather disorganised as we were uncertain on what we had to do and where we had to go as we were the only English couple there and everybody was speaking in Spanish. Our tour was supposed to be at 13:00 however we were still waiting for kayaks to return so we didn’t set off until 13:30, which was not an issue but we were unsure what was going on. However, during the trip with our tour guide, Barbera, the experience became increasingly more pleasant as she ensured that we were not isolated from the group and always made the effort to come over to us and explain the sights in English before she would proceed in Spanish. Although Barbera’s English wasn’t the best she made us feel extremely welcome the whole of the trip and tried her best to explain the sights and the history as best as she could. The tour itself was great and the Nerja sea was extremely clear and beautiful, it was a great experience. A tip on anyone wanting to take part in the tour, make sure you take some diving goggles/snorkels out with you in your kayak as half way you get to stop and swim in the crystal clear waters and we were gutted that we hadn’t taken any out with us! On behalf of me and my partner, we would like to say a huge thank you to Barbera, you are a very lovely lady!

I could give 5 🌟 easily. The trip was stunning especially when it's windy and waves makes it even more special. But don't you ever think of having your phone waterproofed in their back office. Not only it costs 5€ for the cover and vacuuming. But also another 2,5€ for the sling without which it's quite useless. After about 15 minutes on the sea it cracked open and mobile got wet and is still not working next day. Another 1€ for the locker when you're already paying 24€ for the trip seems to me squeezing every possible Euro out of tourists.

The coast between Nerja and Maro is a short distance but with loads of interesting rocky features. Our instructor Irene was great and we had a wonderful time. As a plus she took pictures for us!
