A lovely walk along a river bed. Not particularly strenuous but you do walk along a river bed so spend most of the time walking in water around ankle deep. Recomend wearing trainers as walking boots will be heavy when wet and flip flops are...More

Went for a wander as the sun wasn't shining too bright. Didn't go very far up but the experience was excellent and the viewels great. Visit on a warm but not too hot day when it isn't raining

I agree. Go early. Less people. But it really is protected a lot of the way and you are walking in ankle high and lovely water most of the time.
