Was expecting something awesome, alas it is a nice viewing promontory. You get a good view of the coastline. A visit from a Spanish King made it famous.

We just returned from a lovely week in Nerja and we spent a lot of time on the Balcon de Europe admiring the beautiful views and listening to some great musicians. Such a lovely place.

Beautiful plaza area , must be the most photographed place in nerja , balcony looking onto the Mediterranean, lovely restaurants and cafes , and a great place just to sit in the sun and people watch . Stunningly beautiful.

We went at Easter- wild weather one evening and we stood watching the sea from the Balcón for ages. Around it are lots of restaurants, cafes and plenty to see.

Nerja is flat, if you want to go to the beaches they are down steep concrete ramps but the town itself is all level surface

Some of Nerja’s bats are always lively. But depends on you visit dates as the ferria is on in October and that makes it busier
