The beach here is fine shingle although very nice its a bit pebbly getting into the sea. Sunbeds are set into sections. We struggled to get 2 even though we were early. Then by day 3 we asked the guy in charge how come they all had reserved on so early? he replied "you have to book" the beds are... More

We arrived later than I wanted to and by the time we got there all sun beds had been taken. There are lots of water sports to do, plenty of bars and food places. The sand is gritty stuff, no good for the kids making sand castles. The sea was very dirty, lots of debris floating about and very murky,... More

Nice beach - like all in Spain none of it is 'private' but some areas are cordoned off for hire of loungers with umbrellas. Average €8 a day for two peeps. Huge range of restaurants just behind the beach that do really surprisingly good food. Beach is sandy mainly, but smaller pebbles nearer the shoreline which can make long walks... More

Rampacked...everyone was nigh on cheek-by-jowl It is far easier to find one of the other smaller beaches to the west like Playa Carabeillo or Playa Carabeo. They are more accessible and for some strange reason a lot quieter.

This busy part of Nerja is condensed into a small area with plenty of gift shops and beach restaurants. There are sun beds for hire and a lovely sandy beach with water sports. A bustling part of Nerja.

Great place to go. Lovely sandy beach, lots of bar and cafes. You can hire sun beds quite cheaply. Plenty of shops as well. Great place to relax.

We have visited here many times. The beach is well served by restaurants and shops. It is very busy but also very clean. Parking here is a bit of a nightmare but, there is a public car park (only open until 10.30pm). Even late at night, one feels very safe walking along the seafront. It is well used by all... More

Nice Beach with water sports, sunbeds, showers, beach bars, clean toilets. Sun beds can be reserved in advance for which there is a 50 cent extra charge per bed. If your there by 10am you will have no problem getting a bed anyway. We always a manged to get 5 but those arriving 10.30/11 were sometimes disappointed that beds were... More

Good day at the beach. Water was clean and the beach also. I could find a toilet when my little daughter need one. Parking is a bit difficult, we visit the beach a Monday but was pretty full as expected for Summer season. We had decent food at AYO restaurant by the beach, food was ok, not the best though.
