Just returned from our 10th trip with Sierra and already booked again for next year!!
Alan, Alexis and the team continue to work hard at making your experience as friendly, exciting, thrilling and relaxing as possible.
From the moment you arrive it feels like you are slipping back into a home from home from the breakfasts to the rides, uplifts and the post ride drinks back at base, everything is tailored to make sure you get the most out of your hol and nothing is too much trouble from ride locations to lemon in the fridge waiting for your post ride G&T ( we are of that age!)
After riding 3 days in a row with weary bones and a few scrapes and bruises we were looking for a second day off (we went paddle boarding along the sea front on a day off earlier in the week, thoroughly recommended). Alan suggested rather than a full day out in the mountains we might like to accompany him on his regular ride in La Cala hills where we enjoyed his company right down to cake at his local cafe on the seafront at La Cala. Thanks Alan, as a softer but very enjoyable couple of hours on our last day was just what we needed, despite chasing you up the steep bits on your ebike!
Already looking forward to next year and our grateful thanks to Alan, Alexis, Tom (the wheely expert!) Mary and Carmen for everything
Ps - Anyone MTB in Costa del Soll for first time, be prepared for the rockiest rocks and thorniest thorn bushes with the amazing ability to see you coming grab you in a bear hug then repeat with next in line!

This was my second visit to Sierra MTB. Very enjoyable again, the weather was very good to us, it being February and the weather gods were battering the UK! Alan and the team are very laid back and deal with everything with no drama. Enjoyed seven days of riding and a trip to the motor museum in Malaga - worth a visit if you enjoy 4 wheels as well! Accommodation is nice and ideally located for the town with a plethora of restaurants and bars. You will not be disappointed with breakfast, just how much can you carry in your belly up that first hill!!

Have been with Sierra MTB for over 12 years and, ever, a great week with Alan and the team.
Great trails, the weather and the guides are brilliant too. Hired a Specialized Levo full suspension E-MTB, a chance to really try an E-MTB on proper trails, from flowing single-track to loose, rocky and gnarly, and not just a ride around the block!
Unlike some other operators, you can get a lift to/from the airport/station anytime you need it, there are no set changeover days/times. There's the added bonus of being within walking distance of as many bars/restaurants as you could want, plus the pool and the free beer/wine. Reasons we've been returning for over 12 years!

Just got back from 4 great days of biking with Sierra Mtb. It was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back! Alan and his family were really warm and welcoming hosts and couldn't have done anymore for us.
The house is in a perfect location to the beach and staying in the house is a laid back chilled affair. The fridge was always stocked with all the essentials needed after a full days biking.
Alan and Alexis led us on some great trails and very quickly assessed our capability level as a group and tailored the trails to match our abilities ensuring we had maximum fun....without any accidents!
No better way to spend a few days with a few mates, a full English breakfast, riding all morning, spot of remote lunch somewhere, ride all afternoon, home for beers and chilling, then out for some tapas (and more drinks!)

Excellent week. Met off the plane and cycled that day alone with guide Clive while my pals chilled out. I am an MTBer who does not wear body armour so more cautious than some. Creator of SerraMTB is "retired" Alan, whose local knowledge makes him great to follow especially if you want to explore and enjoy.
Accommodation and breakfast excellent set you up for the day. Everyone in the family operation was excellent and willing to make sure your stay and cycling remained excellent. We will be back.

We highly recommend this company. We had a wonderful time. We did a one-day mountain biking with Sierra MTB, we loved it!!! Many routes to choose from and they will offer options to make sure your enjoy your time. Our guide (Alejandro) was excellent ( and if you want to ride with an expert in mountain biking…you found it!! This guy is a pro at riding). The equipment was perfect (We just wish the would provide the full mountain equipment protections like elbows and knees). Again overall great experience and only positive things to say about Sierra MTB.

Excellent long weekend. We have been with Sierra 4 or 5 times now. If you read the majority of reviews, they are returning customers, what more do you need to know.
A special word of note about their guide Clive, one of nicest guys you will ever meet. My new life mantra is to be " more like Clive "

I really enjoyed my second trip with Sierra MTB. Great set up, very laid-back vibe and nice, helpful people. I'm at the lower end of the advanced ability level and the trails I rode were just the right mix of chilled / challenging, nothing ridiculous, but enough to keep you on your toes. Very good. Nice accomodation, excellent breakfast, great places to eat in Fuengirola too. I even got the train from Malaga airport and got picked up by Alan at Fuengirola train station - very easy and efficient. Highly recommended. I hope to be back soon!

The best place for a nice biking holiday in Andalucia. Fantastic house, excellent trails. very good guides, Alan and his crew are friendly hosts and a very nice breakfast. I would highly recommend to go there - you will not med disappointed!

This is a wonderful 5 day biking trip exploring the diverse Andalucian countryside.
A reasonable level of fitness is required as you traverse the "lumpy" terrain.Whilst 90%
of the riding is off road;this is not of a technical nature.The overnight accomodation
complemented the days biking with spectacular "white village" locations.I have biked
all over Europe and thanks to Alan and his team this tour is right up there.

Hi guys, I am in Fuengirol for the week and wish to hire a 29er full sus if possible for a day. Is this possible? Cost? Have my own pedals and kit with me. I am at club la Costa. Very experienced rider. Keen to explore

Defiantly contact the Guys at Sierra, you might want to go out with them as they know the best trails in the area, some are a bit of a distance so they go out in van & cycle back. Good luck. say Hi to Simon, Josh & Alan from Laurence & Hugo (the dog) if you do use them
