Great time can be had at market whether you shop or not. The experience of all the different fruit and veg. haggling over prices can be great fun,but watch out for pick pockets, and hang on to kids as this is a very busy place.

Sorry but I have to be honest. My wife and I visited the market on Saturday and we were really disappointed with it. 80% of stalls were people selling rubbish. The place is however extremely busy so obviously not everyone has the same opinion as us. There were a few decent antique type stalls that were interesting. If you are... More

This was my first visit, but I was travelling with 3 people who were well acquainted with this large market. The market was in some places very what I would call 'touristy'. Most stall holders spoke excellent English once they realised my Spanish wasn't up to much! There were parts that I would say were like a regular market with... More

We visit this market every year and its always fun. There seems to be less really cheap bargains each year but always something to catch your eye. You need to be prepared to haggle over things and really check out the quality of the merchandise. Its a fun few hours!! Go early if you want to park!!!

We got the bus up from Benalmadena on a Tuesday in December, and were dropped off right outside. It's a large area selling all sorts - clothes, leather, pottery, gifts, and all kinds of tat. The fresh fruit and vegetable section was so cheap and they had all sorts of good quality produce there. I bought 2 kilos strawberries for... More

Spent a few hours strolling round here. Plenty to see, although for me not a lot to buy. It's a bit like the Peter Kay wedding buffet, wallets, bags, toys, clothes and repeat about 10 times down 4 or 5 rows. Was sheltered from the wind so was quite warm. Worth a look if you're there.

If you love to shop head to this market. Lots of antiques, vintage clothing and rubbish. The market is well established and lots of people around. Easy to miss a bargain so you need to take your time and barter hard.
