My husband and I took the train to familiarise ourselves to the town of Baeza. A very disappointing experience. The information was very difficult to hear but the real disappointment was that although they advertise this experience with Spanish, English and French it was ONLY in Spanish and there was no provision for providing another language. A total waste of time and money. Also the most scenic part of the trip there was no provision for the train to slow down enabling the opportunity to take a photo.

I can recommend taking this tour of Baeza to get a feel for the place, sights and beautiful views. The commentary is good and points out all the places of significance and a little of the history. It is fun for all ages from childhood to seniors. Copes well with the inclines of this charming hilltop city.

The recording of the guide is barely audible. We sat behind the locomotive and had to breath in the fumes from the train. Since the train is so long, it can’t get into narrow streets so the larger part of the tour is in the perimeter of the town, you don’t get to see all the monuments and it’s hard to know which of the ones you pass by the audio guide is speaking about.

Dear Claudia, I feel your comment. Train have 54 places and perhaps the seat behind the locomotive is more noise, I m sorry Another question is the long of train and the street, I m sorry but the train can go through for all street and your travel is for the historic center, around the Cathedral with the small street, the Guadalquivir Valley views, and for the perimeter for to see the Plaza de Toros and another monuments. In next occasion we will try to do better, thanks regards

Better than walking in the blistering heat. A good way to explore the town and get to places that might be a little too far to walk. Has an English commentary.

The tourist train with it's commentary in english - other languages are also available - is an excellent overview of the citiy's history and gives you a good idea of where to explore later on foot. Our tour guide spoke perfect english and was most knowledgeable.
