- Trail5483811 contributionAmazing family experienceWe booked a family private tour as we were unable to go on one of the days the park was open. Lobo park was brilliant, so much information on wolfs, and all our questions answered. Really friendly and welcoming, would defiantly recommend!!Visited February 2024Traveled with familyWritten February 13, 2024
- Rocio V7 contributionsAwesomeThe guided tour has been spectacular and wonderful. Being able to see the wolves in their habitat has been beautiful and with the guide Danny who has explained everything in great detail and with love, as well as a touch of humor 😊. Without a doubt we will repeat.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten February 24, 2024
- simago2508Heppenheim, Germany268 contributionsGreat visit for kidsWe were able to enjoy a guided tour in German with the kids and learned a lot about the different wolves here. The park is not a typical zoo or wildlife enclosure. Visitors travel in small groups with a keeper and are present during feedings. Therefore, wolves can be observed in most enclosures, despite their size.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 29, 2024
- Darren1066Birmingham, United Kingdom1,655 contributionsInformative and interestingUpon arrival you are directed to park in a field but from there it’s only a short walk to a shaded seating area and the reception. We had already booked our time slot the previous day via their website. The entrance price was €13.50 for adults and €8.50 for children between the ages of 3-12. They do 4 types of tours a guided wolf tour, photography tour, VIP tour and a night howling tour. We done the guided wolf tour you start off from the shaded seating area where you are told a bit about the park and what they do, then you’re taken to see the 3 dingo pups. From there you’re taken to see the goats, pigs, donkey and chickens you are given about 15 minutes to have a wander around this area. From here it was back to the seated area where a different woman ( sorry I’m terrible with remembering names ) then takes you on the walking tour. The path uneven and rocky in places more like a dirt trail so not good for the disabled. You’re taken to each wolf enclosure where you are given a talk about each type of wolf their behaviour and family pack life. You can ask as many questions as you want our guide was more than happy to answer them. The wolves are very shy and timid and we’re only enticed out with some food but even then we didn’t get to see some. I think there was 4 types of wolves at the park, timber wolf, grey wolf, tundra wolf and the Iberian wolf. The wolf packs varied in sizes with one pack that had some young pups that was hidden away in a den. Overall it was a great experience getting up close to the wolves and finding more about them. It was a hot afternoon so most of the wolves were lying in the shade under the trees. You can buy drinks and ice creams at the reception. You will probably want to wear a hat as the tour takes about one and a half hours and there isn’t a lot of shade. Don’t forget sunscreen either. We will probably return when we are back in the area in November.Visited May 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 30, 2024
- PixsiePLondon, United Kingdom156 contributionsThe respect for these amazing animals shines through 😍🐾🐾😍The park has an entrance area with toilets, shop and you can purchase water, ice-cream, snacks etc. Our tour guide was excellent. She was very informative, invited questions, spoke English and Spanish. It's not just about the tours. The park was set up to research wolves. The team here respect the wolves, and it's about them, not human. The viewing areas are set up so wolves can observe tourists and they make the decision on whether they approach or not. The wolves have large roaming areas. They had recently taken on 3, 6 month old dingos.. like little foxes! Good experience. I would never go to a zoo, and this park did not disappoint.Visited June 2024Traveled with friendsWritten June 13, 2024
- nukamariAlgeciras, Spain217 contributionsIf you like wolves, you have to come. The visit is worthwhile but don’t expect to see a huge number of wolves. They have several copies of each type that the staff will try to get you to see since they are in semi-freedom so they will approach if they feel like it. The explanations and the treatment of our guide, Minerva was sensational which made us very pleasant the walk.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 28, 2024
- Lynne K2 contributionsWhat a lovely parkWhat a lovely park. The wolves are amazing and the guide provided so much information it was brilliant. Great for families. There is a place to get refreshments and snacks and a shaded area to sit either before or after the tour. - travelstar445Düsseldorf, Germany410 contributionsPassionate employeesInformative two-hour guided tour, passing different wolf species. Large, well-kept enclosures and very species-appropriate handling of the animals. Competent and motivated employees, who were told their passion for wolves. Sturdy footwear however highly recommended, no flip-flop event! A photo spot without a fence, for example a lookout tower, would also complete the experience. Nevertheless, even now absolutely recommended!Visited October 2024Traveled with friendsWritten October 13, 2024
- Roving11834237894Hazlemere, United Kingdom1 contributionGo if you have an interest in wolves out conservation! They are doing great conservation work with the wolves. We were able to get very close to different subspecies of wolves, Iberian, tundra, Russian and timber even though they have good grounds to roam. Very helpful, interesting and informative guide too, thanks Shelina!Visited January 2025Traveled with familyWritten January 11, 2025

We were staying at a villa a short drive from the park and visited for an afternoon visit . Its only a small park with a small information centre and gift shop. There are set times for tours which you have to book in for A member of staff came and gave us a welcome talk in both Spanish and English and then the tour starts off at a small petting zoo which the children in the group really liked. The guide carried on a tour around the rest of the park. we stopped at various enclosures and were introduced to various wolf packs at the park. Some were a little shyer than others but they all came close and were such beautiful creatures. The guide was very informative and gave lots of facts about wolves and their lives and the work of park and the research projects they are involved in. The guide did the whole tour switching between English and Spanish and answered every question asked of her. The grounds need a little tidying up and they explained that Covid restrictions and the new laws on wolf feeding had affected their budgets and visitor numbers but they have lots of plans for improvements for the future. It cost 46Euros for four of us to visit and its really interesting to visit for a couple of hours

Spent a morning with an amazing guide who taught us all about the different species of wolves that live here. Staff were super friendly and ready to answer and questions. You don't get to interact with them, but that is the beauty of this place. They are looked after incredibly well, but they are still wild. The cafe wasn't fully open due to Covid19, but we were able to get reasonably priced drinks, plus a couple of gifts from the shop. The outdoor seating area is well shaded too. Well worth the trip.

If you are an animal lover I can guarantee that you will love The Lobo Park, the wolves are beautiful and well cared for yet are still wild animals, which is so good to see. It has a very different feel to that of a zoo and the staff are clearly educated and passionate about wolves, also really friendly and relaxed. Throughout the tour we were able to ask questions which we answered fully and at length. Our tour had both English and Spanish speaking people and questions asked by either nationality were answered, then translated for all.Informative, educational and really enjoyable! Absolutely recommend that you visit here.

Spent a very enjoyable and informative couple of hours at the Lobo Park. The staff are all very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about what they do, and we're able to answer every question. We were the only English speakers on our tour, but our guide Shelina took the trouble to translate and explain everything to us. She obviously cares deeply about what she does and introduced us to the different sub species of wolf, including their two latest arrivals from Ukraine. I would thoroughly recommend Lobo Park to anyone with an interest in wildlife and conservation.

We did a normal guided tour in january on a friday. We were the only visitors at that time so there was a lot of opportunity to ask questions. I think this is better than a zoo because the wolves are disturbed only a couple of times a day. The wolves seem to be very relaxed, even when it was raining. The entrance fee is affordable.
Most wolves live in big enclosures in a semi wild environment and they are not shy towards people. There are 4 different kinds of wolves in the park.
All enclosures have big fences. You can not use special photo windows during the normal tours, but with an SLR camera and a diafragma of 3.5 you can shoot nice photos through the fences. It is not allowed to stand very near to the fences.

My wife and I decided to drive from Malaga to Lobo Park. Though we arrived a tad bit late the accommodated us. The guide was very knowledgeable and to her time and each location to explain in detail about the wolf’s, the natural habitats, diets and personalities. The facility was clean and well maintained. You can tell this location and design was well thought out. I would highly recommend activity. You will walk away in awe and with a lot more knowledge about wolfs.

It was my second visit , Still excellent, all the wolves have a great relaxed and as natural as possible territory , surroundings and habitat. Their fur clearly is adapting to the different seasons they are living through together with the vegetation surrounding them. I believe Daniel is doing a great job, even in these very hard last couple of years, with the pandemic, the parks income must have suffered tremendously. Its a huge responsibility being in charge of a large amount of animals , their welfare is imminent . My hat goes off to him and his team, everyone is dedicated. We thoroughly enjoyed these amazingly beautiful animals. We will be back of course.. and will recommend ! The more visitors, the better as the income will support the welfare of these animals and the tours will educate more humans about the life of the wolves.

This tour was very informative and we had the possibility to learn so much about wolves. Our tour guide was lovely and explained everything in both English and Spanish. There are many different kind of wolves in the park, which we were able to observe from a close distance. The wolves are treated well here and they allow the wolves to live as naturally as possible.
We had a great time here and it is very easy to visit this place on a day trip from Malaga/Costa del Sol along with Antequera’s other attractions like Torcal and the Dolmens.

Visited today (good Friday 2022) with our daughters (8&6) Friendly insightful staff, a great concept and you do get to see the wolves up close. The tour is just the right length with a qualified guide who gives as much information as you need and open for questions. A really interesting and enjoyable trip. Highly recommend!

Hola, buenas tardes.

Precios:
El precio para adultos es de 11,50€ y para niños (3-12 años) 7,50€
Precio de grupo (mínimo 15 personas) adultos 10,00€ y niños 6.50€

Is there any way to get to the sanctuary within your own car?
Written February 28, 2019
There is unfortunately no public transportation to the Lobo Park, our visitors mainly come by car but when this is not possible, the best way to get to the park from Malaga, Granada, Cadiz (or any city from Spain) is with the bus to Antequera centre, and then from Antequera you can take a taxi. The cost of a taxi is approximately 15 Euros.
Guided Wolf tours (day time):
In our park we offer guided tours the duration of the tour is approximately an hour and a half. The tour has two parts. The first half an hour we visit our refuge/farm where we have some domestic animals and some wild animals. These animals have been rescued from private people that have had them as pets or that have been found or mal treated. The second part is one hour where we see and observe our wolves. The guide explains amongst other things, the behavior, the basic socialization and the special characteristics of the different subspecies we have.
Prices for the guided wolf tour:
Adults 11,50€
Children (3-12 years) 7,50€
Guided Wolf tours:
Monday to Sunday: 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 16:30
Closed on all Wednesdays, 25th December and 1st January

How long does it take to get around on a normal visit? No guided tour or night walk? And how far are you from the Caminito del Rey?
Written October 31, 2018
Hi, the normal tour takes 1.5 hours. 1/2 hour with our domestic animals and 1 hour to see the wolves. From the park to the caminito del rey it takes more or less 45 min.

I do not have a car is it possible to get to park by bus
Written May 4, 2018
Hello,
unfortunately no one is offering bus tours to the Lobo Park.
To visit the Lobo Park you need to drive by car to Antequera.
Otherwise if you want to come to the Lobo Park with public transportation, you would need to take a bus from Malaga (it takes app. an hour) that go forward and backward almost every other hour. For more info please check the web page of the bus company "alsa".
From the Antequera bus station you then need to take a taxi which needs app. 10 minutes to get to the park.
If you arrive by train then there are taxis at the train station as well. Unfortunately there is no bus connection between Antequera and the Lobo Park.
To see the wolves we have guided wolf tours on:
Monday to Sunday: 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 16:30
The park is closed on all Wednesdays, 25th December and 1st January
Prices for the guided wolf tour:
Adults: 11,00€, Children (3-12 years): 7,00€
Kind regards

Buenas tardes, se puede entrar al parque con un perro?
Written February 17, 2018
No es possible.
My spanish is too bad, so I’ll answer in english...
They have own dogs to work with the wolves. Besides I’m not sure, if your dog (-s) are quiet and do not disturb the wolves.
There are trees outside so you could leave the dog in the car - but that depends on the weather!
